Thanks for the kind words. Even though i'm very on/off online nowdays because my university started, i never forget all the memories and achivements we had together. Wether that was getting the final gold medal on last stand or beating glubtastic on realism+expert, i'm always grateful for everything i've managed to do with my dear friends.

L4D2 will forever be my favorite game not only because of it's artstyle, modding scene and fun factor, but because of all the experiences i have gained throughout the years of playing this game. I would not have gotten into the university i'm currently in without my modding experience, which you guys have inspired me to keep doing.

Thanks lenny for sticking by all these years and keeping me motivated on my modding stuff and everything else. I still love all of you the same, and will always remember the times we had together. And hopefully many more times we will still have in the future, since this game is truly immortal in my eyes.

It's been more than 3 years since we met. If I'm correct we were with HuntHeeringas and Emily. Maybe Magz was there for someone.

I remember how we helped you to get the last gold medal on The Last Stand map in survival mode. You recieved all the achivements for l4d2. You were so happy xd You said you love us all so much xd

What I'm trying to say here is Big Boss is a great person. A good player, awesome to talk to, friendly, contributive to l4d2 as a creator of mods. Although, we never were very close friends; and we barely play together nowadays. I still appreciate him a lot as my friend. +rep.

Sure thing! You need a program called "CGFScape" to extract the vpk file. When you extract the vpk, put the "root" file onto your desktop for example. Then open it, and remove all the fx stuff you don't want to have, which are located inside the folders. After you're happy with the changes you need to create a new vpk out of the root folder. To do this, you need to find vpk.exe file inside L4D2 game folder. It is located inside the "bin" folder. Just drag the root file into the vpk.exe and you're good to go. After all that put the finished vpk inside the "addons" folder within your l4d2 directory.

Just wondering if you could clue me in as to how you did that and if you could demonstrate how I could do something similar with the file for the blood splatter effect

gun shake are non on vanilla animation and minmode but if you talking about when shooting (cant be removeable unless using mod or console command that require admin system)
