I backed this game about five years ago on Kickstarter, and out was worth the wait. The unique combat was always something to look forward to in every encounter, where you essentially get a different mini game every time.

The characters were very fun, and you could tell that the Andy Brophy enjoyed coming up with silly ways of having them interact with the player.

The story I'd say was overall pretty decent, but gets absurd by the end, which I think is on purpose. It's a really fun game, with lots to do, and discover. I really think this will be the next indie hit that many will be talking about for a while.

This might have some of the most options for a turn based combat game I've ever seen. So many different ways to affect the outcome of a fight, and nearly all skills/spells are viable. Currently making my second playthrough with some friends, making the experience brand new once again. Definitely get it if you enjoy great combat.

Still good even after years since I last played it.

I originally played when the game was on "Games For Windows Live" and lost all my progress, but after revisiting, it's still fantastic. A little unrefined compared to later games in the series, but probably the best one, as far as getting the Dark Souls experience.
