Install the game and start it up. Choose the game you actually want to play. Click campaign... Restart.

Play for a while. Crash. Restart. Choose campaign. Restart.

Play for a while. Steam connection issue. Crash. Restart. Choose campaign. Restart.

Game opens up. Update requires restart.

Start the game again. Choose campaign. Restart.

Start playing the game and suddenly notice that all the practical light effects can be seen trough walls and terrain. Restart. Go to Reddit. Try the fix, where you restart the game and restart the mission. The fix doesn't work.

Quit to desktop. Uninstall. Never restart again.

PS. When I played WW2. The game suddenly one day didn't start again. After numerous re-installs the problem persisted. Waited 6 months and tried again, finally it was fixed and was able to finish the game. Maybe it's the same with this broken game.

How is it possible that in 2022 we are having issues like this with a triple A title that costs 70 euros.

So.. this is the dream come true to all Mom's Basement Operators. I love it. High speed, Low drag and so on.

All in all, for me this game looks great, has great ui and feels good after a few control tweaks. Running a 980 GTX on very high. And the game is just beautiful to look at. I don't really care about the clunky driving on land.. seem's to me that in these types of games it's always going to be clunky, especially on a keyboard and mouse. But there is a thing, that bugs me out. Flying a plane is kinda OKish, but the helicopter mechanics are ridicilous. Why do we have a pitch angle hold, when we can't use press a keyboard buttong progressively? Maybe just change it to a angle toggle, 5,10,15,20 degrees or something. And don't tell me to switch to mouse operated pitch and bank controls, because that thing is even worse to control effectivly. Even landing the damn thing with the control options would crack the frame of a helicopter every single time.

I like to play stealthy and for that this game offers me plenty of options and surprises too. More than once I entered a cartel base, thought I tagged everyone by circling around the perimiter for 10 minutes and when I started pushing in I would find my self in building going up the stairs almost bumbing into a cartel soldier that I couldn't find with my binocs. These type of things make it feel refreshing, because surprises happen even if you try to mitigate them by proper reconnaissance.

There are many aspects of the game still to be explored and get proficent at, but all in all this game provides me with the nice exceitement and fiddling around gear and velcro like a wannabe operator. Would love to see this game have more RPG elements in it, as in choices and stuff. Not meaning it should have a system like witcher or anything, but some operational decisions. For example a choice in three timed raids, you only have time to do one of them and they differ in what type of intelligence you gain and that would then affect the way you tackle the next mission based of that intelligence you got. Or something like that...

Oh yeah.. I really like the setting. More options than just going on a terrorist hunt in the Middle-East. Definetly seeing possibilities for more content or a sequel in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe ect. Looking forward to this!

Ps. Gear selection was limited in the beta I believe? Anyways, would like to see more of the real stuff available like Crye, Arc'teryx, Beyond, Patagonia and so on. Nobody really uses 5.11 except for airsoft.
