With CS:GO's deletion and supplantment by a fully-foreign entity, I have officially--if not permanently--retired my Negev career--and with it, my namesake.
Praise Negev and those who still faithfully wield it--but ♥♥♥♥ Valvo for what they did to my favorite game.

I am preserving my old profile summary for posterity's sake, but stuffing it all in a quote-box further out of view, to make way for more relevant degeneracy--and more degenerate relevancy--so that I may, in turn:

I am what I call a "negev main".

I've been using only a negev, and generally only in competitive, for the past 5 years straight, ever since Valvo originally reworked the negev to $2000 in April 2017.

Yes, I am competent with every other gun in the game too. I've been playing the game steadily since 2015, primarily in competitive. I used to be a Bizon main before the negev rework. ;3

I use the negev simply because I think it's great fun to have mastered something that generally no one else thinks to use, and introduces a real suppression game mechanic that most matches never see, because matches rarely see competent use of the negev, and don't know what it's capable of.

It is situational and struggles with bad angles and being caught off-guard, but it dominates the situations it's useful in, creating openings for your team, and it's cheap enough to ensure you have it for every situation after pistol round.

There is no better weapon for covering fire; whether that's protecting a planter, delaying a push until your team arrives, or forcing someone to run out of time; No better weapon for when backed into a corner by multiple enemies or stopping an eco rush dead in it's tracks; And no better weapon for punishing mistakes when they're made.
