There's something here that's definitely worth checking out. The first half of the game is really intriguing, I love the detective/survival aspect that it delivers. Some moments stuck out in my mind that, avoiding spoilers, kept this game's mystery interesting through out. The tiny horror elements really kept it together too, I loved that.

All that being said, this mainly accounts for the first half of the game. The second half feels far more incomplete, maybe even out of place. It feels to me as though the action element of the game wasn't as fleshed out as it was supposed to be. The final showdown just adds to that feeling. I felt as though there was little point for half of the inventory I was carrying with myself throughout the game. There were almost no encounters to use the weapons I were carrying. I can understand that the action wasn't the focal point of the game, but if it's there, then make some use of it.

One of the few games I'm on the fence about leaving a solid review on. I'll say this - try it out, explore as much you seem fit (and there will be some very intriguing parts!), but don't put too much hopes on being wow'ed by the end of it all. It's not that long of a game anyways. Give it a shot!
