After playing Amber Isle for a bit, I wanted to give a very simple review, noting my biggest positive and negatives regarding the game.

Positives
+ Cute customization with character and shop
+ Fun shopkeeping gameplay
+ Areas to explore
+ Cute and interesting characters

Negatives
- UI is not great to look at, and could use touching up
- Could benefit from visual indicators when tracking quests rather than just on the map (such as "ghost footprints" for you to follow to a location)

Overall, I suggest this game to anyone who loves cute, laidback games. I also have a lot of faith in the devs to continue improving this game, as they've already put one patch out less than 4 days since release.

Super cute idea and fun when it's not buggy. One of the dogs in the intro got trapped outside of the shelter and was starving to death and I had to restart because there was no way to get him from outside. The character also got bugged between a wall and a table and could not move and the "unstuck" prompt did not work. You can load from the last autosave (beginning of the day) but that can only do so much.

All in all, if it has its bugs fixed I would give this a big thumbs up, but the amount of bugs makes it lose its appeal, in my opinion.

I've always been a big fan of mobile rhythm games such as Love Live All Stars/Love Live, Bandori, and Project Sekai, so finding something that is sort of the equivalent of that (minus the gacha portion) on the PC (as well as mobile) has been great. The songs are pretty good and it's fun to match characters with elfins- I would suggest this to anyone who is on the fence/likes rhythm games!

God himself couldn’t have created a better game.

Jk. The mechanics are wonky and a bit rage-inducing but the Chao Garden is just as fun as it was when I was a youngin’. If you can get over the early 2000’s game mechanics then I suggest this game for a trip down nostagia lane. :^)
