Game is not exactly terrible as I still finished "story" content for all base game regions but overall is really mediocre, bland and simply boring. At first it appears to be interesting and rich but quickly shows that is just as deep as a puddle. Leveling is very slow past first few levels, quests are , in 90% cases, about killing some guys, there is hidden scaling even in "locked" mode so there is no point in hiring people or you will face absurdly large groups of enemies, combat looks pretty much the same at beginning, middle and end game, with only bigger numbers. Yes, it is playable and can sometimes be interesting but overall game was a disappointment for me.

Somewhat forgotten but overall very good strategy game. No base building, resources are acquired on maps themsleves and carry on, just like your upgradeable army that, over time, truly grows into your tailored, personal force. Base game might appear too easy near the end but expansions balance this out.

This is truly game made with love. It might sound silly but I constantly felt big dose of positive energy during playing. Im glad I played, finished and enjoyed this little gem.

Moe Dungeon - similar to Da(r/n)kest Dungeon but you don't go crazy and have overall easier time.

First things first - it's more like RPG mixed with 4x elements, not the other way around. World you play in is fixed, not random - some quests are random but each town is exactly in same place, each landmark stays where it should be and so on. It's more like one-time game but still very satisfying to play. Combat module is balanced and thoughtful, finding and training new units actually fun and when you gather lost spellpages, reasearch new spells and grow in power, you can really feel it. I really enoyed my game and recommend it to everyone, who also likes turn based strategy/rpg games.

Comfortable, fun and interesting rogue-lite. Perfect entry into this kind of games as it even allows disabling perma-death. And still supported!

One of best games I played this crappy year. Absolutely wonderful, more arcade than sim, flight game. Essentially fan-made Ace Combat but done extremely well and just by three guys, bless them! AND more reasonably priced than AC7 AND with joystick support AND without Denuvo. 21 missions, unlockable bonus difficulty mode, additional "conquest" mode for extra play time. And the game is simply FUN, I can't express this enough.

The only flaw would be lack of checkpoints during missions, which can be annoying at times when you have to repeat entire mission for just one error. And before you get used to the game, you will make mistakes (not to mention that several missiles on your six is kinda common on higher difficulties).

Absolutely worth buying, loved every single minute of it.

Solid FFT (more like FFTA to be honest) clone with good gameplay and nice amount of content. Unlike what SOME people claims, graphics and overal style is good, very much like FFTA in fact (but hey, it was made by small group of people) and you can import your own portraits if you dont like the ones already inside. Have some annoying elements and little unbalance in few aspects (mainly non-story battles) but overall it was fun ride. Around 60 hours of content if you intend to 100% it. Worth getting.

Overrated game. First part can be interesting but after initial 1/3 game time, all borders are pretty much decided and only very weak AI player will wage war against anybody else, rest will be sitting and stagnating - even in case of so called "endgame crisis". Devs clearly did not care about remaining 2/3 of game that can only be fast forwarded. Automation is a joke, I ran out of research technologies in middle of the game only to have them replaced with generic, repeating ones with very weak bonuses. "Crisis" is hardly crisis at all.

There are better 4x games, much more interesting and better balanced.

Its simply great, closest thing to can get to Armored Core on PC, not counting few indie projects. Runs smooth, properly packed with intense action, comfortable and intuitive controls, nice and detailed customization for those who want to dig into that kind of stuff and with few loot elements. But action is the best part - more similar to AC4/FA but with quality of life improvements and both ground and air combat properly balanced out. Only standing out things are plot (anime-like) and multiplayer problems.

Story content last for around 20 hours but doing (perfectly enjoyable) optional stuff can easily increase that to 40-60 hours if not more, if you REALLY want to unlock absolutely everything.

And if you want something similar, take a look at Garrison Archangel and MASS Builder - both are similarly tied to Armored Core series. And Duel Gear is here as well.

Truly great time to be mecha fan.
