It's a GOOD GAME, but

it is almost a negative review due to the 'Putting Challenge' achievement issue, but the fast Developer's help changed that.
(Btw, I don't understand why they couldn't code this achievement bug for months.)
So if you're an achievement hunter, you have to prepare for suffering to obtain 100%.

Plus, you also have to purchase the 2 new DLCs to accomplish the game on 100% after they had released end of 2022 and their contain new achievement packs.

1. called 'DUCKS, PLEASE’ contains 4 cheevos:
Floatpiercer, Firequackers, Beeline, and the Magnetic feel.
(TIP: You can ALSO reach them in the other DLC/winter map, but it's FASTER if you choose the base map and the 'Ducks, Please' duck collection ONLY.

2. 'QUACKING THE ICE' contains 6 cheevos:
Off-piste ski, Quacking the ice, Fun-fun-funicular, Hot Tub, Campfire simulator, and the Scoring Challenge.
(Well, so I would continue this part willingly, but it's just a review, not a Guide.)

So... The expected total playtime of base game is about 10 hours, the 2 DLCs another 10-20, and finally 10-20 hours for 100% with much cry because of first mentioned achievement.

I recommend you purchase the game or the pack on sale only. According to my purse they are ridiculous at full price.

Besides the above I just can say one more really IMPORTANT thing about the game:

Splash. A duck. Quack.
Let the water rocks.
Much duck, Even more quack.
Take your time.
Tick-Quack.
Relax much.
Rock. Quack.
Enjoy your life.

I thought I can run throughout this simple jumping game. It seemED a simple arcade game first time: no menu, no settings, no any words, just simple geometric shapes.
Easy cheevos, come here. :)

But well, erm, so...
It’s a logic, really unique game at the same time.
I thought I am a fast, quick-thinking and a skilled gamer. It is the time to keep a self-assessment. :)
This game makes me sweat, I must take a little break time after time.
I just can say God bless the developers who have given us a lot of checkpoints! :)

Well, It seems I am a seer. :) I was right at the end of my review what I,ve written about Sniper Elite V2 Remastered. The 3 is continue the quality and maybe a little better than that.

I have been written my review about 3 in comparison to 2 generally, but I hope/think those guys also will understand/appreciate who play the 3 first and/or never played the 2.

Let's see the PRO:
+ nice graphics (game runs correctly with i5/GTX1060Ti beside ULTRA video settings) shadows are well developed,
+ exotic landscapes/enviroment, real desert mood, (it is getting boring at the end but it can’t be more if you are in Africa),
+ better story and more historical reference,
+ customize your rifles before startings a mission: it can change your weapon properties,
+ easier control: no need to press any button to cover if you arrived to an object crouched,
+ quick-menu (I think you won’t use it often but the chance is given),
+ Quicksave/Quickload (it is what you will use OFTEN :)
+ the collectible letters: a few ones give you useful tips to play, some are really funny, and other few are touching, they show you that how sad and sh.tty a war is,
+ collecting the grinds is much more interesting than it was in Sniper Elite 2,
+ a lot of choosable path, you can plan your way, and you have to do it for bulid an attack or relocating your position to hide,
+ much occasion to stealth,
+ many possibility to make sounds so you can work hidden with your rifle,
+ stealth-kills are more advanced: more spectacular and various,
+ if you still start the 'hell': you can use re-localization (the enemy will lose sight of you so they go back to passive mode),
+ kill-camera’s also more advanced: more detailed,
+ BIG TIP! ('Cuz maybe you didn't know, but:) If you already get bored about watching the too-long-time kill camera scenes after a time, but you don't want switch off this setting finally, then now, in this game you already can INTERRUPT/SKIP them by pressing the action button,
+ you can remove and re-deploy your traps those weren’t used,
+ Light Machine Gun turrets those you can use,
+ a lot of and interesting achievements, some of them are hard challenge but no any ’MAD’.

And now the CONTRA:
- the AI sometimes is still stupid,
- much less sniping than previous part, the game forces you stealthy moving/killing many times (I must notice I love the such kind of games (eg. Hitman), but this thing I don’t wait from a SNIPER type game),
- stealth moving (crouch) is slow enough,
- no remote detonation (what it was in the Sniper Elite 2),
- you can not move/zoom your map and you can not make a personal mark on it,
- only one playable character in campaign mode (it have to be that because of the story).

THE CO-OP MODES:
+ 'Overwatch' mode is OK, it needs jointly planning, communication, and take care each other,
- 'Survivor' mode is just a simple/too long hunting even this mode so it's really boring,

THE MULTIPLAYER:
well, it's actually dead.
+ Nice, large and various maps, a lot of/nice choosable characters.
+ I enjoyed it for a while when we tried it with my friends.
+ a lot of obtainable ribbons and medals, but
- they don’t give you any extra/special skill/weapon/attachment. You can't even wear them on your uniform. :)

GLITCHES / BUGS:
(not own experience only, they,re confirmed by more players):
--- some enemies running continuously to a wall/any other object/or in same spot only.
--- corpses vanish if you shoot too many enemies down in a short time, so you can't loot those soldiers you kill first (it's especially annyoing in that case when the soldier has a collectible item (weapon part),
--- if you quit to desktop too fast after you had quit to the main menu from any mode, it cauaes the freeze of Windows (this only one is not confirmed),
--- in CO-OP: either of players doesn't have reticle in his riflescope (restarting game/PC then choosing other rifle and reticle(!) solves it),
--- in CO-OP: player can't host, when he try it you get a message: 'Leaving Lobby...' and you return to Main Menu (usually restarting game/PC solves this)
--- in CO-OP: performing certian mission goals may cause freeze of the game with a message: 'The connection to the game Timed Out...'
--- in MULTIPLAYER: you may meet freezes during play randomly, rarely,
--- in MULTIPLAYER: you may have an issue with host/join a server (It needs modifying of Windows (Firewall) settings.)
I think these bugs are ridiculous in case of a quite-a-few-years-old game.

THE DLCs:
4 DLCs (Hunt for Grey Wolf and 3 Save Churchill) give you more map with more quest, the other DLCs just give you some special weapons, camos. The previous mentioned are worth their prices, latters are not.
So you do the best if you purchase the Season pass (what includes all of them) when it's on sale.

My SUMMARY -based on the above- is:
Same what I wrote about SE V2 remastered, it’s a really nice game again, a few years after its release. So it's worth buying, especially if you like this type of games, and if it's on sale.

Finally I’d like to say a thank to my 2 friends called LORD DINDU and RAFAEL for helping what they gave me in MP/CO-OP so I could write a more precise review. Thank you guys, you are true friends.

I must admit, I saw in th store but ignored this game for many years because of I really didn't like the sneaky, hiding, camper behavior in other FPS/TPS games. BUT I thought I give it a chance, and it was worth absolutely, this game changed my opinion about snipers.

First of all: as I've never played the original version of this game before so I can't compare this game to that.

Actually I LIKED this game, because it had:
+ nice war atmosphere,
+ accurately copied, period 'old-timer' weapons,
+ great sound effects from the explosions to the re-loadings,
+ slow-motion kill-camera with the explosion visual effects,
+ some new ideas, eg. the remote detonator killing, trip-mines,
+ varied and the historical locations,
+ co-operative mode sessions,
+ a lot of achievements, they are various and sometimes force you stealth combat.

What I did NOT like this game:
- the most disappointing thing: it's RANDOM which enviromental objects you can use as COVER,
- the cutscenes were always played with the same character you've choosen any other in vain,
- a few ridiculous achievements: 'Pass The Buck', 'Fingered', 'Target Führer'. Actually you can,t perform them directly, you get them after some tries if you have luck, if you haven,t you will hate them.
- the two collector cheevos were boring and annoying after a while,
- the 'Sniper Elite' difficulty is much harder than the 'Marksman', in fact it wants to be too realistic so it's incredible hard, unenjoyable.

I must mention the MULTIPLAYER:
this game mode is 'dead'. But I think it's a natural and obvious thing in the case of a few years old game. So if you are an achievement hunter you have to find a partner in Steam discussions. Me had luck, I found one in no time. :smily: So I just want to say with it that it's easy enough.

My SUMMARY bases are above:
It's a special type and enjoyable game, that's why still a deservedly popular game, a few years later it's released. So it's worth buying, especially if it's on sale.

I will play the next games in the serie just later, but I'm sure they'll give the same experience, or even better.

ehmmm... now I should writes some sentences. But I have no words.
This game is... Fabolous. Literally and figuratively too.
The graphic details, the visual enviroment, the audios: the marvellous melodies and the cool effects,
the characters and their moving and skills. Great new features.
And the story? It's well-structured, spiced with appropriate humor and a few cuties.
The puzzles are not easy as earlier, but just so perfect!
Excellent sequel of the serie. Strongly RECOMMENDED. It worth even without on sale.

Sometimes I'm sorry I'm not a kid anymore. What an experience it would be to immerse in such a dream world! Now I'm 46 y/o, nevertheless I was 'Enchanted'.

There's no any challenge in the battles, and there's zero achievement in the DLC.)

As the full walkthrough of the game is 2-3 hours, it,s too expensive for full price (10€/12$).
But because I've got a 90% game coupon for craft a Steam badge, so I can write some appreciative words easily.

Simple direction, nice music (sometimes to slow for a fast game), cleaned enviroment, easy "story-related" achievements.
And there are the important checkpoints: not too much, but they’re on perfect places, great help that not to kill your nerves and wasting too much time.

You just have to jump precisely, shoot quickly while TRY NOT TO GET DIZZY. :D

..... AND FINALLY: ......

(due to above) its high price, so I regret but I have to say:
I do not recommend it EVEN at a delivered price.

I'm usually not critical about the games here. Indeed. Never.
But it's not that. It',s just a joke. Not funny, rather... Ridiculous.
I really don't know how it's got to my Steam library, so I feel I should apologize myself if I gave money for that.
Well, this occasion I thought so I take a try with it. Then I had to suffer for the achievements all along. But what was a pity!
My advice, if you would start it as well, is the secret keys (buttons): Escape, Quit (immediately). And you will be sure: Uninstall.

By the way, it would have been a fine game around 1995.
But wait! NO. not even at that time.

Maybe it's not important in the game, but still: Why did Alan need that much coffee?
personally I don't like when the developers try to increase playtime by meaningless collectibles.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, my opinion is Stephen King would have smack to the story.
I did it at least, as his fan.

Hi mates!

The first thing what I can mind about this game is:
I won't lie, it is the most difficult logical game what you will play with.

Although you could have play 100 and 100 logical and/or indie games, you may NOT know what the real challange is. Until now.
Here you won't know where the up and down is, what the lef and right is.
You have to forget what you learn about physic, gravity and dinamic in the classrooms.

PROs:
-masterfully designed and varied maps,
-nice story,
-matching music and effects,
-simple navigation.

KONTRA:
- no any clue in the game about the Collector achievement. There are no any things related to the locations of the hidden wisps. - Or just I wasn,t pretty wise to find it. :)
