Battlefield 1: World War 1
Rating: 9/10
Campaign is 7 hours, Rest is Multiplayer.

Absolutely massive battles, I liked them. Even though I don't like multiplayer games much, most servers were noob-friendly and yet fun. And very very active even after 8 years!

Campaign consists of 5 mini-stories of The Great War, and most of it touched my emotions. So sad only 6.6% players had the achievement of finishing the campaign in Normal difficulty!

Nope, not for everybody
Rating: 5.5/10
I wish I did enjoy this game like most people out in the reviews, but I couldn't. I face same issues like that of RE0... puzzles are too challenging and I am going full circle repeat. Inventory management is too tedious and so is traversing and backtracking. You will need real patience to succeed. Plus, I am not enjoying the combat in this game... fix camera is making it worse. No checkpoint mechanism too. I do like other survival horror games, but this one is on tedious side.

If you love highly challenging classic horror games without hand holding or obvious puzzles, you will probably like it.

Fake it, till you make it - Hitman in disguise
Rating: 9/10
If you haven't played Hitman before, he's Johnny S. of serial killers.

Kill your target in the cleanest way possible, without alerting anyone, and get out like a innocent child. There could be more than 20 ways you could finish your mission, with very different gameplay. Multiple that by around 20 levels, you have 100s of gameplay hours.

Campaign is easy, they help you with mission guides. Story is good. Multiple game modes too... Freelancer (Roguelike), Contracts (random kill target made by community), Arcade (map redesigned with new events and enemies), etc. Vibe hits different with Diana and her voice, makes you feel like true Hitman.

"I will leave you to prepare"
MISSION STATUS ACTIVE

I highly recommend this game, undervalued deal.
Save this video too =D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLKYOEslWk0

*Note - I don't understand this confusion among players, but if you are confused which edition to buy, check COMPARISON GRID.
As clear as it could be.
Hitman 2 - Expansion highly recommended for full experience!

- Part 1 = Hitman 1
- Standard = Hitman 1 + Hitman 2 + Hitman 3
- Deluxe = Hitman 1 + Hitman 2 + Hitman 3 + Deluxe Bundle (includes 2 story expansion maps from Hitman 2)

People say "It’s a game about how our parents went to school back then", I guess it's true
Rating: 9/10
Do NOT get discouraged when you hear walking simulator, it is not, that's exaggerated. I came to this game expecting a walk in the park with good story, but this game had more to offer.

It has horror, shooting, driving, walking, trekking, building, music, cute BBs, and lots n lots of Quality story cutscenes. What prefab structures (like roads, bridges, safe houses, ladders, etc) you build around the world reflects on the world of some other players and yours. It makes you feel grateful and honoured by helping your fellow porters and receiving wave of likes from them. I did.

Not everyone will like Death Stranding, it's not for people who want gun blazing action from beginning. If you are fine with slow paced games with little intense moments here n there, with very good emotional focused story... this might be for you.

If you were wondering why the hell everyone is crying for no damn reason, it's not a bug.. it's because of chiral allergy.

By the way, is it only me or the driving physics of this game is so janky¿ Like a last moment addon. And the UI 👎🏻

Trade off little responsiveness for more FPS
(Open this review for a much better points view)

Pros:
  • Double or Triple (not recommended for Cons) your FPS with Frame Generation, any decent GPU.
  • Doesn't inject into the game, hence no ban.
  • Won't glitch out Physics of game that has hard coded 60 FPS lock.
  • Fantastic program for games with CPU bottleneck, emulators or un-optimized engine.
  • Works everywhere.. Youtube, VLC, etc to watch videos/movies with significantly better motion like in TV.
  • Adds support of Upscaling (FSR, LS1, etc) in any game, can make videos little crisper too.
  • Ultra affordable, Just 4 MB program that is only getting better with time... Thanks to active dev team.

Cons:
  • Input Latency is noticeable to sensitive people like me in some games (enable "Performance" & use Reflex in RTSS to minimise some impact).
  • FPS lock is recommended, with fixed Refresh rate.
  • Borderless/Windowed mode mandatory for it to work.
  • Could cause slight artifacts/ghosting especially on the character head, but improving with regular updates.
  • Costs some GPU resources when activated, hence base FPS will drop 10-30%. So even more latency.

Overall I highly recommend this app. Works better than SVP if you were using it for video. Give it a try, works best in some slow paced games like Death Stranding or games with micro-stutter/frame pacing issues.

Update:
Input latency is further reduced with new update, and I am having a fantastic experience in Watch Dogs & BF1 (LSFG 2.2). Not facing any latency issues like Hitman WoA (LSFG 2.1).

Game of Cat and Mouse in a Time loop, Death Loops.
Rating: 8/10
The most negative part of this game is its performance. Man, this game could drop FPS from 80s to 40s depending on the area you are in. Game crashed quite a few times too. For a roguelite game, man this lost hours of progress overall and stress level peaked. :/

As digital foundry said, you need a lot of GPU headroom to play this game, so cap the game to 60, or use adaptive scaling even if you are peaking double and facing trouble.

Past that, it's a solid game. Very creative gameplay loop mechanics. Don't see why this game was Rated 10/10 by some reviewers, but its good. It took me some time to get engaged, as the start was not that interesting to me and felt difficult to grasp. So this game got a lot better as I played.

As Colt (main campaign), you parkour around discovering stuffs and killing enemies around the map to forge a plan of breaking the loop which consists of 4 maps, each with 4 time period, and different events happening in those time and many secrets to discover outside story. While the cat, Julianna, occasionally interrupts to prevent it from happening in this game of cat and mouse. You can play as Julianna too and invade other player's campaign to kill Colt and waste their loop lol. Very good for sadistic people. XD jk, relax. It's very fun, plus you can disable it.

The story is not so impressive, and it's not mindless shooting game. You will have to engage your mind a little. But you will enjoy it.

Simply Fantastic co-op
Rating: 9.5/10
Just get a friend and a copy of A Way Out. This is the gem you have been looking for. Story focused on Friendship and Revenge.

Prison Break was already the main attraction for me, but its more than just that... you will see. Do join Hazelight discord to find co-op partner easily.

*Warning - You gonna end up buying It Takes Two for more of this <3

The Golden Standard for Racing Games
Rating: 9/10
* It's getting delisted on 15 Dec 2024. Buy it before.

If you would search for a perfectly fine balance between an Arcade and Simulation, Forza Horizon would be your destination. It's more arcade than a sim though.

No actual story unfortunately, but a beautiful world with changing seasons including snow. Game is arcade but car handling feels real on road. Crash car, rewind time. Forgetting brake, check red road lines. Got off track, mostly breaks walls and trees. It doesn't matter you win 1st or not, the game will mark it as complete and move on.

Forza doesn't divert you to buy the most expensive or fastest car in the game. It wants you to celebrate them if that makes sense. It features a hugee collection of cars that will keep on coming to your garage easily and generously. Hence, don't waste your game credit on those unless you want something badly enough. See,

You adapt to your rivals ❌
Rivals adapt to you ✅

In most of the races, you choose your own car, and rivals car would be matched accordingly. So you could use different cars in every race and still never run out of choice. Just don't tune or upgrade parts of the vehicle to max like in NFS... if you don't know what it will do, rip. Adjust difficulty as you learn driving. Just remember in corners, "Slow In, Fast Out".

Music selections in radio are good, graphics & optimization top notch. To experience it, I disabled "Skill" & Player Name HUD as it was not required for most part of the game and blocks immersion. I just wished the navigation could have been simpler, it takes multiple steps to do somthing simple. There are many good cars in the game, but Ferrari GTC4Lusso, and AMG Warthog (YES THERE IS AND ITS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TANK!) are my favourites for great handling and all purpose drive. Lambos are superb as well, someone in the high place made sure of that.

Then there are 5 showcase event, racing against train, jet, bikes, and all sorts of crazy stuff. That's the dessert of the game.

Totally recommended. Get the Ultimate because both expansions are good, especially Fortune Island.

Arise: A Truly Emotional Story
Rating: 8/10
Easily, one of the BEST EMOTIONAL GAME I have ever played!

If you love the story of games like Days Gone or Before Your Eyes, man this is The Game for you. It's about Love, Life, & Death that we all are going to experience one day. Its a really simple 4 hrs story but the narration is so fantastic with its music and visuals, you are gonna spend more time feeling the emotions than actually playing the game. If you love platformer games, this is a 10/10 for you, ignore my rating.

I am listening to its theme music as I write the review and feel the emotions. Thanks for including it free.
One reviewer said it true - "Ironic, this game is called Arise yet you’re always falling."
