My personal timeline with gaming systems/computers:


1980 - Rental consoles: Mattel Intellivision and Philips G7000

1982 - Got my first gaming console, a used Atari 2600 $83

1985 - Got a new Commodore 64 $333
- Tape deck - $57
- Wizard of war (on cartridge) $17
- Two tape games $8 each
- Joystick "The Arcade" $33

1990 - Got a new Commodore Amiga 500 $750
- Bundled with Hugo, Oswald and 2 joysticks

1993 - Got my first PC 80386 DX40 $666
- It shipped with 1MB RAM and 42MB HD

I kept upgrading it until I sold it in 1995 where it had a 250MB HD, 8MB RAM and a Pro Audio Spectrum 16bit soundboard.

After that I had various PCs which I upgraded during the time I had them until replaced.

1998 - Got a new Playstation w/ modchip

2011 - Got an XBOX 360 Kinect $465
- Came Bundled with Kinect Adventures

2014 - Got an XBOX One

2015 - Aquired Logitech G920 w/ shifter

2016 - Bought the HTC VIVE kit.

2017 - Replaced: GPU card with GTX1070

2018 - Replaced: Mobo with AsRock Fatal1ty x470 SLi | CPU with Ryzen 5 2600 | Memory with HyperX Predator 2666Mhz

2020 - Replaced HyperX Predator with Corsair Dominator Platinum 2x16GB
- Bought the Oculus Quest 2

2021 - Set up a dedicated racing rig (Intel I5 RTX3060Ti)

2022 - Upgraded CPU to Ryzen 9 3900
- Replaced the G920 with Thrustmaster T248

2023 - Replaced GPU with RTX3070

2024 - Replaced GPU with RTX4070 Super
