With over 10k hours of pc gaming in my life, I am pretty sure this game is the best I have played so far (with and without the DLC)

I spend over 60 hours in this, its fun and definitely worth the price.

Just got the last achievement and I must say I really enjoyed this game.
What many peoble list up as negative aspects of the game I must say i rather enjoyed in this ROGUE LIKE game:

- perma death with punishing walk of shame to your corpse to return of your items -> makes you play on edge very often and therefore the game felt very reliefing everytime a bonfire or shortcut is discovered
- little to no explainations -> makes you find out things on your own / trying out more stuff. Devs got guts to go this step and probably were aware that many people would complain that there is no tutorial or quest log that tells you everything you have to do. Games like these got very rare these days and I very much appreciate the courage to leave out explainations in cost of bad critics.
- through different game mechanics, more and more pressure is put on the player with each floor he/she get's deeper into the dungeon -> this leads to an interesting conflict everytime a new floor is reached between "nice I got further to the end" and "but now I am in even bigger trouble when I die."

This is a game for rogue like enthusiasts and not for casual gamers - I think this is most important to note.

Ofc as many people pointed out, the artwork and soundtrack creating a very dark and depressing athmosphere is awesome. I recommend playing with lights turned off in your room. I also hardly recommend to not look up any information on the internet when playing this game. Learning by doing and trying stuff out makes this game so great.

I have one small critic point / improvement suggestion: I think it's too hard to find out what each different helmet is actually doing. I still didn't figured out the use of every helmet after playing through the game and I tried many things out. Ofc the names give a little hint and the effect of some helmets are obvious, but others were too hard to understand - at least for me. Maybe the translation plays a part in this as well.

Overall I'd say this game is definitively worth the price of 22€.

Fun early and mid game.

Very disappointing end game as there is nothing much to do and things get really repetative.
The game is also not challenging at all, especially if you have sustained a basic income of resources.
Way to much neccesary clicking/closing messages that repeat over and over again. Fights completly lack strategy and are not fun at all. Some design decisions I could not understand at all, for example you can only get access to a special place in the game, when you have chosen the correct pet when starting the game, or let your pet die - move to another location and get lucky getting the right pet. However, when I heard what would have been the price for entering that place, I was relieved as there was only some loot you dont really need as the game is way to easy as it is.

I had the feeling that there could have been essemtial improvements with some small changes.

However, i was able to kill a lot of time, mostly though because i thought that there would be more new content in the lategame.
