Absolutely incredible game. I was not sure how the empathy power would work, but by god did they manage it *very* well. I think this is my new favorite Life is Strange game.

If you've played the game fully, keep reading! There are spoilers for all currently released Life is Strange games (LiS 1, Before the Storm, LiS 2), so watch out for that!

I really enjoyed every Chapter a ton. Chapter 5 did drag on a bit, and it was a little strange (heh) how they "saved" all the backstory until then, but it made some sort of thematic sense (kinda like the nightmare section in the first game). Additionally, the "twist" with Jed Lucan was unexpected! I very much enjoyed it, and also the bit of parallel between the first game when you find this out at the end of the 4th "episode". Anyways, the game started off amazing, and kept it all the way through. The shortfalls in the second, and hell, even the first game are basically solved here. It's one consistent location that is very easy to learn your way around (and they even riff on this in Chapter 3 with the LARP section). Chapter 4 (up until the end) is just adorable, especially the band sequence. There's so much more in this game that is just amazing that I can't even think of it all off the top of my head, I should've kept notes!

Through and through, this game is absolutely worth your money. I will probably be replaying this game to see all the endings, instead of just watching them on YouTube as I did with the other 3 games. No disrespect to Dontnod, but Deck Nine has a much better grasp on this series now, I can't wait to see where they will go from here.

i knew how the game would end but i still cried

it's not as good as the first one but in terms of story games it's really high up there

Human Revolution might be my favorite game of all time (sorry Superhot VR). The story is incredible (up until the end) with some really good themes and messages inside of it. The directors cut is also a really neat thing, with some commentary and *finally* the missing link dlc is part of the main game. The end is trash, with the whole story culminating in 3(4 if youre good) choices that don't do anything, as theyre all retconned in Mankind Divided

firewatch is a game about nothing. there is no grand payoff which works really well for the story that they were trying to tell. it also looks absolutely goregous. Very simplistic artstyle at work here but man, it just looks great with the lighting and such. give this game a shot
