One of those games I spent innumerable hours playing in my teen years. I really wish someone would play this game and make an updated version with more depth. It is still a game I come back to once in a while.

It's Mass Effect. Great combat, definitely changed from the multitude of mods and stats to compare in ME1. A great story, great dialog and it's Mass Effect.

Memorable storyline, even if it's a bit "save the world" cliche like. Fantastic characters and voice work. Inventory management could be better. This is still a solid purchase for anyone thinking about buying.

Stands tall among the greatest video games in the Star Wars setting. It's just amazing.

So much fun having crazy dynasties and WTF moments. Has incredible depth and strategy (and quite a bit of luck).

Cons: NO NAVAL BATTLES

Seriously, the only thing I have against this game is the fact there is no naval combat. I still recommend this game whole heartedly.

Easily one of the best grand strategy games I've ever played. I was a huge fan of EU3 and was worried at the direction of this game, but I think it far surpasses it's predecessor. Some problems, like wonky AI diplomatic behavior(thankfully not even close to MTW2 level) and the fact that once you get to a certain size, the rest of the game (centuries even) are laughingly easy. Seriously though, it takes a good while to grasp but this game is well worth it. Especially if you are a fan of other Paradox titles. GET IT!
