This game is good. It is difficult but I see that as a good thing. Remember difficulty is content. As someone who has spent a lot of time playing games that don't challenge the player switching over to games like this is very refreshing. The game does not waste the player's time. When you press that start button you're right into the action. No walking sections or introduction segments that stand in the way of getting to the actual gameplay. If were to describe the gameplay I would compare it to the older Castlevania games where it's commitment heavy but also versatile since this game has a expanded moveset compared to the original.

Some people have critiqued this game for deviating too much from the original but I believe it's different this time. If you compare this game to other remakes that are just other companies making fanfiction versions of the original, this one was done by the original developers who looked back at the original game with the knowledge they have now and made a game with more innovative gameplay.

This is the Sigma version which is inferior to the original in my opinion. It's still better than nothing.
