The sole reason I left Elyon was because of the “Max 4 Dungeon Rewards Per Day” Which basically prohibits you from getting any rewards from completing dungeons if you have completed more than 4 that day. That includes exp, (only from the boss) Currency, Dungeon Tokens and Loot Chest, so basically the only things you get are exp from trash mobs, as well as +1 dungeon completion on your achievement list.

The whole premise of daily limits can work, but it does not work in this setting. You will need to complete the first dungeon around 210 times to get “Legend” achievement for that dungeon. Now! It’s EXTREMELY demotivation to grind out that achievement, while not getting currency, loot or even just exp.

And if you have not guessed that daily limit of 4 rewards per day, extends over ALL DUNGEONS both solo and grouped.

After leaving World of Warcraft (because who hasn’t) I have been trying to find an MMORPG that I can really no-life. Grinding mounts, gear and achievements is what I really like about the genre, but sadly Elyon is not the best place to do all of that.

Elyon does indeed do a lot of things well. The fluency of combat is nice, as well as the huge customization around the upgrading of skills, and runes. But sadly, the things that it doesn’t do well in, is the things that I enjoy. But Oh Well, it’s free with no subscription, so try it if you want to.
