I now feel qualified (?) to review this God forsaken game after 1k hours of playtime.

All jokes aside, the game is fun. It's a lot better if you don't take it seriously. Not to say you shouldn't work together as a team and complete objectives, but every once in a while you'll have that one person in end-game chat who thinks the sun shines out of their behind and you should just give them the 4k (or on the killer side talking to survivors, they think you should just let them all live). Did we forget the objective of the game on either side?

DbD is also not very beginner friendly. I started playing the game in January 2022 and it took a while before I truly got the hang of things. I didn't even barely touch playing killer until I got around 700 hours. Recently we had a friend in our group play DbD for the very first time and they agree the game is not beginner friendly, namely when you have a killer who can see they're new and tunnels them out of the game because they can't loop to save their life (literally), or just thinking about the initial grind to unlock everything.

I see some controversy around this but I do believe BHVR listens to the community and does their best to implement changes that the community is actually requesting. As of late there have been a million and one bugs in the game so you kinda just have to roll with the punches until they get their sh*t together.

Overall, fun game, fun community, I've met a lot of great people while playing this game. Best to play once you've got a couple hundred hours of playtime so you have your perks unlocked and more than 2 or 3 characters that aren't base game.

Silly, easy, creative fun. Good game to play if you like getting all achievements. :)

I've played this game on and off since it came out, both on console and PC. One of my all-time favorite games. I'm still finding new things in the game all these years later. I'll probably, finally, 100% the game by the time RDR3 is announced (I hope) - 10/10 would highly recommend!
