Early Access Review
So far, it is interesting but basically killer bully simulator.

All the survivors need to do is chain stun the killer which they can do with weapons they already banished them with. So if you already have been banished by "holy" someone will carry that weapon to pin you down then kill you while you are stunned with a weapon they require to kill you with. Rinse and repeat. Being chain stunned into the group waiting for billy to show up with the correct weapon is super frustrating.

Secondly, if you are hit with no LOS options or out range options you are dead. So survivors can also chain slow which locks out your abilities. Essentially a silence and slow. So they can kite you then stun you then kill you. The games you do get a monster victory feel good but it is usually people who just started out and haven't shaken the "fear" out. When they do, they drink 400 sodas , out run you , chain heal , then chain stun. You also need to be inside of them to hit them which is brutal with a soda drink away from super sprint burst.

If the survivor is high level good luck unless they are on a team with people who are effectively comatose.

EDIT: OK...I now have played 20ish hours of killer and 20 ish hours of Survivor .

Survivor community is actually pretty nice, I've only had a few people that had, choice words when referring other human beings but more of less kind people.

Survivors have a large range of communication from their voice, pings, and self ping (default "c") which they should put in the tutorial. Everybody has view of what are you working on (healing, weapon, type of weapon, etc...) So it is easy to get all stigma, sort of. Since your video missions have certain type of weapon items people might run to look for the item needed rather than the closer item in benefit of the team. I've had my games on survivor where given the wait times you steamroll or get steamrolled. If people get hit into the "crawling state" , the will selfishly DC with no drawback, it is crushing to the single survivor that has to try and revive 1 dead person and break 4 stigmas with no comeback sort of mechanic. You just wish them well, ping the box, and watch as the monster gets the rift, finds and tunnels the player, or toys with them so they can farm points. Having way more map awareness and working with people who voice chat you can nicely draw attacks, bate hits, and work like a cohesive unit. That being said if you are a new killer, you will be miserable. That being said, I believe that comes with the territory of learning the game. Killer has a higher curve of learning and seeing how killers play now with touch and go tactics or extremely blood thirsty tunneling it is just how the meta is until it evolves.

finishing the first set of video missions and getting the extended was a great little treat and I will try and finish those up. I am switching my review to positive just from the fun I have derived from things as well as the community that I have interacted with that were kind.

Shout outs to the killer that asked if there were new people , saw that 2 players had default skins and player icons and played a more lenient hand instead of steamrolling.
