Yes, I've received this game for free, no, this will not have any impact on my review whatsoever.
I like baseball, well. I never played baseball, and I'm terrible at the rules, but I like watching youtube video's of epic plays, and I was the king of baseball in wii sports.
I've played this game for an hour now as of writing this review. The devs reached out to me and gave me a key, and told me to play this game for a while because of the learning curve. After an hour, I started to get the hang of things, which was pretty neat. I expected this to take longer.
This game makes you the entire team of a baseball team. You're the pitcher, the batter, and the catchers(?, I'm from the Netherlands, don't know all the translations)
This is really neat, since you're always playing the exciting part.
Switching felt really natural, because of the small slowmo they put when switching persons.
I won't get into the gameplay all that much, since there are amazing video's on the internet that cover this pretty well. What I would like to talk about are small details that the video's won't tell you.
First of all, there is a broadcast mode, so people that aren't playing can sort of see whats going on in a very nice way. It's nice that the devs put so much work into this, but I don't really see the use of it. There will be little to no moments that it's useful, especially since I don't have friends, but it's a small detail the devs put a lot of work into. Really nice. The game features walking by holding the drips and making the walk motion, like most games. They're also working to implement other movement ways as well. Which I think is really important for this game, so good on you, devs!
Last thing i'd like to cover is catching the ball. It's hard to spot the ball because of the low pixel rate on the vive, so I'd advise making the ball stand out a bit more, the circle wasn't enough for me. However, at a certain point I didn't need the circle to run towards, and I knew where the ball would go. It would be nice to be able to turn off that ring to where to run towards.
All on all, simple, goofy looking game where everything seems to be polished. Nice game devs!
I don't played a lot yet, and I'd like my review to be as honestful as it is, so I will be covering only what I feel really struck out to me. I'll keep this list updated when I notice new things. Thanks for reading all, have a good one :)

This game is what you need to open with some coffee or warm chocolate, when it's 1 am and you are feeling down. Just 2 hours of wholesome time. Suprised at how amazing the community is, not trolling in any way, but also not forced nice. Like you're getting messages from real persons, that really want to help.
But PLEASE DEV, remove the 14 lines max. make it an option to allow letters with more than 14 lines. Big problems need big explanations, and those need to be reacted to with more than 14 lines.
just make it an option when you make your request to allow bigger reactions. i spent 50% writing letters, and 50% removing spaces after interpunction and making everything as pact as possible. ruins the vibe.

Amazing game to come back to, and to notice yourself getting better and better at every time.
9/10, wish that more content was story linked, instead of b , c, and d sides.

This game is amazing, it just has to be your kind of game, and you'll spend hours on it. I personally really love it, because of the ways you can play it. Some days i love soaring through the canyon at 90 km/h, while sometimes i feel more like getting the highest amount of points in a level. The controls are neat for if you are at school, and can't use a mouse, even though i prefer controller. The community is lit, and the devs are active which makes it a very personal game.
And remember, this is the beta we're talking about. Full game coming out tomorrow ^-^

Amazing game, Leveling up is tedious though, but if youw want to bear through that it's amazing for the neon lover :)
