Rockstar launcher update lost my save game. I can barely launch the game now. Terrible...

Great game 10 years later. Custom-DLC world is endless and is great for practicing/learning guitar. Also using DAC interface with AISO has no audio input lag and removes need for laggy Realtone guitar cable.

Way better than the new subscription Rocksmith travesty.

Great game. $10 price point might make the game seem less than it is. Better than most AAA FPS. Player base is kicking but would be great to see more. Decent skill ceiling, minimal card/game knowledge memorization required, good coddling for noobs too.

I am not sure how to improve the game, making it difficult to criticize. Remember Unreal Tournament had like 100 maps? This game could go for a few dozen more maps, that would really mix it up. Even if there were texture-less maps, for pure gameplay variety, no aesthetic? (Like MGS VR missions.)

Maybe the worst part of the game is the low price point. Consumer psychology = lower perception of game's intrinsic value. Also less price tag = less marketing = less playerbase for this radical FPS, which one can play for 10 minutes or hours.

Cant play local/online coop since update. Glad I paid for this game instead of sailing the seas. YARHH!! waste of all night.

Edit: Fix was to restart the game FIVE times. This, 5 restarts, was the case for several others in support forum as well. Additionally, the game takes much longer to start/load.

Edit2: Latest update is pushed buggy too...

One of the best games ever -- at least overall best JRPG!

Cute, existential teenage-romance whimsy without cringe.
Exploration of every nook and soft cranny, especially backtracking, is fulfilling rewarding. Combat...not difficult, yet exciting, feels a natural part of its storytelling.
FINAL FANTASY IX unfolds like a pop up storybook -- with fun, emotion and fantasy on every page.

Re: Moguri mod; first play without the upscaled backgrounds...unless you have no imagination. The mod is still necessary as it fixes some zany sound effects and stuff from the original PSX title unfortunately missing in this title.

PS: If debating, I'd recommend playing it on the Switch over PC.

To play..Hades' advocate? ... Voice acting, writing, 2d avatars are not as good/consistently awesome/sexy as in Hades 1.

Difficulty curve, gameplay loop, maybe fun, are better!

A year later...still, the launcher runs like ass, "--skip-launcher" doesnt work always anymore, and game is still randomly buggy. Thought a year would sort out lotta this. |

I member early launch, game would be fine until an update every few days, which would break something like graphics settings or launcher, etc. And/or downloading 10-50gb patch to play.
