This is a great game that literally exposes everything wrong with the gaming industry! If you're not familiar with this game this whole game is developed by one guy and its absolutely amazing. Forewarning though if you're not familiar or a fan of Roguelike games you may or may not like this game since the combat animations are quite simple. Don't get me wrong the game looks great but it ain't no crysis 3 so don't judge the book by its cover. The true essence of this game lies in the endless possibilities, open worldness and the massive amount of customizations you can do towards your chars build. Also the items, stats and progression system make absolute sense and sad how one guy came up with such a balanced system that is very well polished. Plebs be warned this game is no roller coaster, from the very second you load into the world you're free to do whatever you want no tutorial included(there's tips that you can enable or disable but who's tryna read!) and the world is absolutely massive , if someone told me there's no end i'd believe them xD. But not only is there one super massive world there's several realms that correspond to the elements that are just as massive as the main world so be sure to pack plenty of trailmix. At the time of this review this game has been out for about a month now and i've seen this guy put out more content then plenty of games with huge dev teams and multi million dollar pubs... Games like this with independent devs just go to show that corporations have ruined the gaming industry and are more worried about monetizing everything about the game then actually making them fun. Meanwhile this guy makes a masterpiece solo dolo and only charges 9 dollars for everyone to play. If you're tired of shiny piece of ♥♥♥♥ triple A games then come give this game a try, I promise it won't break your bank and you'll be support a dude that actually knows how to make a fun game!

P.S. There's a bunch of champions you can play in game but if he adds a char creator later on that would be an amazing addition besides that I can't complain about much.

I used to love this game which is why I feel ashamed to not be able to recommend it. The game has been out for a lil over a year now, in the beginning it was still new and although there was still bugs and clunky combat the game as a whole had a lot to offer and just gave Amplitude the benefit of the doubt. But now with it being a year later there's soo many basic things that have still yet to get fixed or are worse.

1. Don't let anyone fool you, although this game is advertised as an online game 99% of the time most people would only bother playing this game in single player because games take hours to complete even if you try to rush gameplay. So unless you have very dedicated patient group of friends most of the time you'll most likely only play this game in matches vs the ai.

2.On that note i've never seen such a lazy group of ai programming as they've done in this game. In most games when you select a higher difficulty setting for ai it should obviously mean that the ai just makes more strategic decisions. In this game though not only does the ai make better choices but its like a player in an mmo trying to kill the mods. In the higher difficulties the ai is no longer is bound to the concepts of the game and can produce units from NOTHING!!!

3.Resources mean nothing to the ai and can pull whole armies out their ass with lil to no resources. Also players have to worry about food, industry, money and SCIENCE yet whenever the ai goes to new eras they just BAM get all the technology pretty much instantly...

4. Not to mention the ai has absolute clairvoyance of the whole map, where the players have to deal with the constraints of fog of war, movement animations etc... Everytime your turn starts the ai choices happen instantly, they could be like 20 tiles away from u and move 20 tiles before u move 1 out of fog of war like a heat seeking missle straight for your units.

5. Also don't even bother with wonders because even when you dont buy anything when game starts as soon as u get enough influence they just instantly buy them out.

6. They have a fame system in game that's like an achievement point system that at end of game the rankings are based on that if not turned off but yes you guess it the points the ai gets isn't even mathematically possible, they will have 2 to 3 x your score at all times.

7. Now lets say you do everything right and are able to vanquish a few ai bases guess what they just produce infinite troops out they ass that practically teleport across the map anywhere they want and if you thought you were going to get yourself a sweet new base you're wrong there too because the ai doesn't need RESOURCES AT ALL!!!

8.They will straight up hand u a base that is full of nothing but common quarters where it should be impossible to make armies with but not for the ai and then they'll spread their parasites all over the map and the only way to actually kill them is to control pretty much every tile on continent and slay all their parasites and thats assuming you do it before they can embark or they'll spread their disease overseas,,,

9. Lastly they absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the range units targeting in I assume a fairly recent patch because enemies can be like 1 square away from your archers and they will just sit there like idiots that have no idea how to load arrows, I admit before some archers were op like Egypt archer carts and could shoot over mountains but now you cant shoot over anything if a friendly is standing in front of you and even if theres absolutely nothing in front of you they're fully retarded and hardly ever work but ofc the ai has no problems with this at all...

Like when it comes to the point where your choices for difficulty setting is either opponents with veggie brains or opponents with Godmode activated and defy the laws of physics that's not a higher difficulty setting that's just having the player vs flat out cheaters with cheat codes, they make no big brains plays at all and will drown u in units from the safety of their common quarters base. I so want to love this game for its Story, Artwork diversity and strategy but this bit of lazy programming ruins all the work that soo many ppl have put into it and its truly a shame that spend more time working on new DLC's then fixing basic gameplay issue a year later still...

Has always been my favorite survival game but this new component system is terrible, Exp system was amazing once they increased the exp gain. You could literally hit lvl 30 and have access to mostly everything in game in 1 day. Most ppl that complained about it were bloody casuals pls bring the exp system back that ppl waited years for you to make smh....

Its a great Moba with a lot of different aspects than your traditional MOBA, I spent hours playing this because its a breath of fresh air from playing League and DOTA soo much but everyone should give it a try, only downside is it doesnt have a very big NA community mostly European but great game nonetheless!
