Mount & Blade Warband: aka the poor mans Skyrim

Graphics 5/10--with graphics modifications it's a 6/10.

Performance 9/10 This games performance is great and you can expect it to perform decent on almost any modern PC. I even used to run it on my old laptop, which had an ATI X1400 PCI graphics card.

Gameplay: 9/10 A game where you can do almost anything you want to do (with consequences) of course
Gore: 1/10 Hardly any unless you count the decapitation mod.

Immersion 9/10 This game is very easy to immerse yourself in! Role-playing out your own story is really a must.

Overall: 8/10 This game is a very good choice if you can't afford really good hardware for your PC, but it is still an amazing game recommended to anyone who likes medieval style role-playing games.


If you do have a good PC: 8-12 GB of RAM and 4+ghz cpu, and a decent gpu then i recommend getting the battle sizes mod and craking it up to, 300-500 i do not recommend going over 500 though. Highly prone to crash.


And if it happens to be on sale while you are getting it is fully worth every penny of that price.
