mmm so... I finished this game like a week ago, during my last days playing the last campaing I had a clear idea of what the review would be about I tried to do it when I finished it but I couldn't, I don't really know how but this game blew away my words, because of that is why I want to keep it as simple as possible. All of the different campaings have really good and unique gameplay for each knight even King Knight is fun and I wasn't really sure how oe why he won that extra campaing but after playing his campaing it would have been a horrible move from the peasants to leave the king without his own story!, if you are looking for a nice 2D plataformer this is the one to go. You are probably wondering "yeah 4 campaings with different gameplay each one unique and fun sounds nice but what about the story? uhmhmh?" well the answer is... the stories are actually pretty simple but all of the have a lot of charm to it, to keep it spoiler-free between the campaings there are love stories, friendship, redeeming arcs, adventures and an really stupid king, all of this topped off with amazing side characters who go from "hey it's me a tiny creature who has one interaction with you!" to "hello it's me another tiny creature who has an entire arc completed if you find my secret collectibles" making it so you have cute and charming interactions no matter what is your main approach. Overall this game is a masterpiece and I cannot recommend it enough, this was a long journey and it feels odd that is finally over I hope we see these guys around in the future!

Blasphemous at is core is a pretty solid game, it offers nice combat, a nice progression with upgrades and a really unique artstyle which is the big highlight of the game. The main problems that plague this game are some aspects that at first are not really bad but they start to shine the more you advance in the game. Backtracking with few fast travel points is a key aspect of why I couldn't finish this game, you need to backtrack constantly so you can upgrade some stuff or get some items that you NEED to complete the game. During the first half this is not really bad because the map is fairly short but the more you explore the more closed doors you find, the more unreachable plataforms you encounter, making you reconsider if you are really having fun while playing the game, adding to that you then find more and more instakill spots combined with some fun fun pixel perfect jumps!. What made quit the game 10 hours in, were the amount of NPCs that recieve random items from you mixed with meaningless and cryptic dialogue, you don't understand a word of what they are saying, you have no idea why you should give the "big blue rose of pain", "ragged painting" and "kinda cool gundam figurine" to the lady that's only a floating head that's melting or something, in order to get "?????" that you probably have to deliver to some other weird npc so you can finally double jump or something. Also the bosses are pretty easy to kill (from the ones I beated during my unfinished playthrough) the highlight of them is yet again the artstyle, all of them look pretty unique.
Overall the clunky plataforming, backtracking and overly cryptic stuff is what kills this game. However, if you feel like playing a cool looking game with solid combat then this is game for you if you are willing to play it with a wiki right besides you, but! wait for it to be on sale.

EDIT: so I finished the game after the patch, the plataforming improved A LOT making the map easier to get around, which makes the process of collecting weird random stuff easier too! yes is still cryptic af and you will probably need a youtube video to tell you what the game's plot is and some collectibles can be pretty damn tricky, however with the improved plataforming I have to recommend this game, the devs took time to fix it and I'm looking forward for DLCs c:

Overall the game is pretty good, the core gameplay is one of the best hack&slash out there, the problem starts when the game tries to do anything but hack&slash, putting you into motorcycle, rocket weird chase scenes or very specific scenarios.
Some ideas are throw out the window really quickly once they are implemented, during one of the early levels you have to fight against fire enemies who are invulnarable to most of your attacks with the exception of range attacks, you can either shoot them until they die or dodge at the right time to activate witch time which allows you to beat them as you would with normal enemies, this mechanic is never brought back, later in the game you are suppose to fight angels without using your weapon because of some lore thing, so you have to use the enviroment to hit them, the problem being that there are 2 things to use only, a giant pole which is really slow and a dumpster which can be thrown once, again an insteresting idea not used apart from that segment.
Now the really bad part, the motorcycle and rocket are pretty much the same but they fail horribly in different ways.
Motorcycle segment or Route 666:
This chapters starts off really cool, you have to fight enemies on top of cars in a highway so you have to time your jumps proprely in order to not lose a huge chuck of health, really cool stuff. Right after this tiny segment you are yet again thrown into a gimmicky part in which you have to fight in the middle of the highway but this time you have to avoid the incoming cars in each lane so far so good, but then it happens, after a short cutscene which has a quicktime event that can insta-kill you Bayonetta rides a motorcycle she has to go through the highway, you can go fast, normal speed and slow but you won't stop moving which is alright because of the pacing of the game. Bayonetta in her bike can shoot, jump and slide buuuuut most of the time you will be sliding as it is the safest way to finish this part without getting as hurt as you normaly would, jumping is only helpful when you get the propt of "jump" apart from those occations it's pretty much useless, shoot is a hit or miss situation as you will be followed by enemies you can shoot them and stop them from doing whatever they are doing but if you miss and hit a civilian car it will start wagglying around making it hard to avoid, its a risk vs reward situation only that you can pretty much go pass by any enemies that you encounter. This segment goes for too long and the camera is awful as most of the time you will have half of a second to react to anything happening in the screen which is weird because at the very last minute of this segment the camera gets in a angle which could have been perfect for this part and make it more decent.
Now the rocket part, it has the same camera problem with the motorcycle one only that this one is more focused on shooting as it tries to be an old school shoot em up, shooting feels horrible and you never know if you are hitting or not, the controls get inverted for no reason, and even though this rocket segment is focused on shooting most of the time you will be rolling to avoid getting shoot at, this particular rocket segment takes on half of a chapter which is then followed by a boss fight, I tended to try stages multiple times in order to get a decent score but with this one I gave up on that halfway through the rocket segment, too long, too unfun, too difficult to enjoy.
I could name other examples of how Bayonetta fails to do anything but a really good hack&slash but that would be redundant. The game is pretty good, silly, and super fun, the combination of weapons that you can have really cool and it offers lots of variety. The only thing that holds it back are the non-Bayonetta segments and some tiny problems with the camera, but other than that it's a solid 8/10

The last half sucks ass as you are doing the same that you were doing before but in a smaller map, the combat system is cool (mostly a batman arkham ripoff with gore) and the nemesis system brings something new to the table, my main complain is that they introduce lots of mechanics that aren't really used or are encouraged to use, like controlling a Craug (which is learn in the last half of the game even tho waaay before that you had captains who were afraid of them) which you learn through a long questline with your buddy dwarf and then you never use them because captains that might be weak are easier to kill without them as it's a pain in the ass to look for a craug and kill a dude which can be killed like any other captain. In one mission you get to poison an entire orc settlement which is really cool but then again why would you go out of your way poisoning them when you can stealth kill them or go head first into a big group killing with a bow the one who wants to trigger the alarm. Finally you have daggers which I totally forgot I had as no captain was weak to them or were really useful at combat, they do as much damage as a rock would do and you aren't encourage at all to use them the same way the other 2 aren't worth using. My last complain is about the last mission as you have to do a stealth drain 3 time to one the big meanies which isn't hard at all to finish up with the main bad dude who gets killed after 3 quicktime events, an awful ending to a decent game.

Lazyness at its finnest, you will constantly find yourself hitting invisible walls, finding some graphical errors, or driving into an unfun desert with worms that get oneshotted by the new vehicle. I say lazyness because it really feels like it, most of the quest are "get to the thing and collect the things--sometimes kill the things in order to get the thing" the last 2 bosses are a piece of cake, the last boss which its build up during the whole dlc it's a piece of crap. The moment you see him it starts really cool then you notice that is not that big because they forgot to add some legs or him being underground , its just a floating thing, in a treassure chamber which looks horrible, it's far from being a super cool place in which the whole point of the dlc was buried. basically skip this one, really lame and lazy stuff

really fun bomberman rip-off but you can only get so much enjoyment from it, it lacks thematic levels and different types of bomb which kept the bomberman franchise alive in the early era, tho is bound to happend some day so give it a go solo or with friends preferably

Really good but kinda repetitive.
Shadow Warrior overall controls really good, looks really good and plays really good, it is awesome to upgrade your guns and select your own strategy to deal with the different types of enemies, the types of enemies is precisely the one complain that I have, they ran out of ideas half way through so you won't be getting any more types, just the same ones over and over again. The story is kinda confusing, some people like it, as for myself I turned a podcast, shooted stuff and skipped the cutscenes... so yeah it's a really good shooter

This hasn't aged well.
It is playable with only the keyboard (if you dare to use mouse the camera will be all over the place)
it feels really floaty and the character moves waaay to fast so is like playing costantly on ice, taking that in account the first part is really small with little to explore, some secrets that you can find are located away from the camera so yeah the secret stuff you find it by looking around instead of actually exploring, the plataforming sucks really really bad, as you can imagine you can't jump precisely when every step that you take feels like you are on rollerskates and on top of that there are some sweets instadeath water that send you to your last checkpoint, it doesn't sound bad right? the problem is that if you kill and enemy he is dead for good so going back where you fall is just a very large backtrack and yeah remember that is instadead?

Bunch of classic megaman games with some extra challeges here and there, there are tons of options to optimize the way you want to look it and for each game it has some really cool artwork, it needs to extra stuff to be worth it full price so, wait for a sale!
