A really good and charming immersive sim broken up in bite size levels. SUPER RECOMMEND IT

ROBO WANTS AN OREO

I don't understand why they released the game in it's current state. I do not recommend purchasing the game right now unless you have absolute faith that they'll pull thru and make a great game like they did with PA: titans. (I know some people are pretty soured about the whole titans thing but it's legit good.)

I'll update my review when the game is more fleshed out.

yeah it's OK

busted performance and none existent a-life. In its current state it's just far cry with a stalker skin.


Edit: I understand that they acknowledged that a-life is broken and that they are working on fixing it but I'm still skeptical about how deep it's going to be. Is it going to simulate activity across other regions, are generated stalkers going to be persistent characters in the world? Or does a-life 2.0 just mean a bigger spawn bubble around the player.

Is it going to fix the basic behaviors of mutants? Like are they going to act like animals or is their behavior going to resume just being 100% aggressive towards the player. Fleshes use to not be an aggressive monster, they were a prey animal that rather run away but now they're just as suicidaly aggressive as any other mutant.

Like it's crazy that a trio of games from nearly a decade and a half ago had more interesting and emergent elements than the sequel that released in 2024.

I will gladly eat my words and change my review if my pessimism ends up being disproven in future patches.

Space age really is a prime example of what an expansion pack should be. Like everything it adds feels so meaningful to the base game. All the new buildings and tools are cool, the planets are really cool and bring on their own logistical challenges to overcome, interplanetary transport is cool. ITS JUST REALLY COOL, very recommended and very worth its price.

sad the dev turned out to be a grifting turd. Could have said that gay marriage or whatever wasn't in his vision for the sequel and left it at that but instead played the victim acting like he got mobbed and reviewed bomb by the woke horde. Just a pathetic and cheap ploy to push more eyeballs onto his game

It really put me off on playing this game and I regret my purchase and obviously I am not going to buy the sequel.

Pick up Cogmind or Caves of Qud, or DWARF FORTRESS instead is my recommendation

a solidly OK arena horde shooter.
