A review-in-progress, since the game is in Early Access and the development is rapid, but I have to say: this is the best game I bought this year. Even without a beginner tutorial, it was a blast discovering how the game works through YouTube videos, as well as trial and error. Once I figured most of the systems, the game became surprisingly relaxing and the beautiful marriage of audio and visuals is second to none.

It's worth mentioning on a paragraph of its own that the UI is the best I've ever seen in a 4X game. Going to Civilization 6 has been such a bummer because of its hideous UI and inefficient sense of design. Good job, Amplitude.
