Entertaining, but the game feels like it should have ended where I am now, and it's still going. There's still an expansion after that. I don't know if I can keep going.

I played this game a while ago and it was okay. Friends and I decided to give it a go again, and it ended up being worse than before. Here's looking forward to the PvP mode!

I tried to review the Satisfactory Alpha but glorious leader wouldn't let me. Doing pretty well, especially this early in alpha. Combat is the most shallow, but I expect to see some good research upgrades and AI improvements as the roadmap is filled out. Too early to say, but I'm really looking forward to it.

I felt like playing the new update on my new machine that can run this game smoothly (in theory). Spent the first couple hours downloading the game files, and went in to run it. The new launcher for the game booted up, and downloaded 22KB. It restarted. The launcher booted up again, and downloaded 464KB. It restarted. The launcher booted to download another 22 KB and restarted again. I wanted it to stop, but it kept restarting so fast that I couldn't close it. This repeated another 50 times before it stopped, in which time I could not use other programs because it continously stole focus away from other applications. The game asked me to choose my install location. I question why, despite having downloaded 20GB to the folder I told steam to download it to, but I chose the install location again. It begins to download 18GB of files again. It crashed 2GB in. I restart the launcher again. The infernal launcher for this existential nightmare I call a game begins to download small files, reboot, and repeat over 50 times again. I take a :slugpoo:. I am asked if I want to install DirectX files. I accept. I am asked to input administrator credentials to proceed with installation. I am currently logged in as the administrator, and I don't have a password associated to it. I hit cancel. The downloading begins again. The downloads are now stalling and caps out at 2MBps. My friends are asking me to see reason. I am reminded that I once had to wait 40 hours to craft a :RogueChallenge:ing flame thrower two years ago. I uninstalled. I'm sad now.

I instantly regret installation, and then corrected the error.
