If you can get it for cheap, pick up this app, barely affects performance (1-2 fps) and is pretty much the only easy way to get a clean wallpaper/desktop.

Hello! This is one of my first times writing a review so try and take it with as much leniency that you can.

This game is great, Tons of content to unlock, lots of maps to play, constant updates and dev transparency always keeps you in the know. If that's all you wanted to know, buy it on sale or full price, you will not be disappointed.

First, lets get into the bad stuff -
This game is declining, fast. While it is super popular, ever since quarantine, there is some major problems with the game. Let's start with ranked, my main gamemode. I have a bout 1500 hours as you can see and LOTS of those are in ranked. I love this game and It's been the first one that could truly capture me since Fortnite. Cheaters are abundant. Half the games I get into, is either smurfing boosters or cheaters that are level 60 in level 150 area (level 50 being the entry gate). Ubisoft ignores accounts with 8+ k/d's and levels in the hundred thousands. While you could chalk this up blissful ignorance, I truly believe Ubisoft doesn't care enough fix it. Not only that but constant slowing of the game (leaning and crouch/ads speed) has made peakers advantage one hell of a problem, but constant jank and bugs can ruin a Ranked game for you and just make you wish you were playing any other game. Elo rollback is a joke and constantly makes you lose elo to cheaters you beat, but the game is dominated by players that have been playing since the game started, where the meta hasn't been shifted for almost a year and a half, leading to the same boring utility waste (bullet proof utility that you have to get rid of with explosives). Due to all of this, and since I don't know much about other competitive fps ranked systems, I would not getting this game to be competitive. There hasn't been a lan in forever and ProLeague drama has put Ubi in hot water with professional players. If you truly love the leaning/gunfighting system in this game like me, It probably isn't for you.

Now let's get into the postitives -
Content: While it is slowing down, they are focusing on changing and improving old content to make the game more enjoyable, the amount of unenjoyable content and straight up boring maps have gone down significantly and the amount of everyday things that they changed make the game that much better for diehard fans.
Maps: Mostly great, amazing if only playing unranked/ranked where you get to choose now.
Characters: So much depth! Every configuration out of the 58 operators in the game can be chosen with most serving a purpose or having interactions with other characters. A few of my favorite characters for casual and fun are
Caveira: A brazilian boxer that sneaks around with a silent step ability, a very powerful pistol and interrogations, that give information on where all the enemies are if she is given the time.
Sledge: He has a hammer, it breaks things.
Maverick: He has a blowtorch to burn reinforced walls and hatches, letting the defenders get in site or make angles to peak through.
This really is the main enjoyment of this game, all with their own origin and lore, coming from great backgrounds and normally having a complimentary character with a different ability on defense.
Destruction: LOTS of things can be destroyed, wooden roofs, walls, and hatches, all wallbangable and etc. The defenders can reinforce these with metal, needing a specialized character to deal with it, adding a nice necessity for certain characters.
Gunfights: While many people do not enjoy this games system, i love it. It's reliance on tight angles and strafing peaks, it's one shot headshots and other amazing features, really makes this game for me and is one of the reasons I love it so much. Gunplay feels amazing and recoil is predictable, but not too much depending on the gun. Some guns become lasers, like the L85A2 or the C7E, but some guns, like the F2, require practice and actual skill to use. Fire Rate is very important in this game and can make or break and engagement. This game requires good aim at a high level, if not at a high level, just go with what you like, it's all the same thing basically.
Community: It varies GREATLY. While ranked can foster some of the most toxic people you've ever seen (as is with most competitive gaming communities) casual can be an amazing place to find and meet like minded people who just want to enjoy a game that they love. For the most part, this community is supportive and kind, while also being funny and it leads to this being the best gaming experience I have had with random fill partners. This combined with the fact that vote to kick was just removed, gives everyone a fair chance to experience the game at their own pace and talk to people that they would want to. Reputation system coming soon.
Overall: This game is losing its steam, which i think it had for a long time. But if you want a game like this, this is your only option and given it's content and depth, I give it one of my only 9/10's for a competitive (semi-tactical) fps with character team based elements. TRY IT IF YOU HAVEN'T, YOU NEVER KNOW IF YOU'LL LOVE IT.

Uno is SO much fun with friends, this is a great adaptation of the game with the dlc and extra packs with a very low cost.

This game is tons of fun and way worth the price, even though valve has completely left this game up to the community, it worked in its favor. There are tons of mods and the steam workshop has constant mods, maps, game modes and sweps posted daily. This is honestly worth your money.
