You're gonna love it. Then you're gonna hate it. You'll then love it, and hate it again. Then after a breakup, you'll download it again and realise again what you hated about it but still find it more enjoyable than something else and stick with it just as you did before.

You are either in the camp of loving or hating this game. There are planes, tanks, helicopters, and ships (for the purpose of this review I'm calling them all machines).

You can play this game in its simulator modes (with/without VR) or as its intended your typical war game in machines.

If you have a completionist/elitist mentality this game will become your nightmare. It is nearly impossible to complete and finish all the content even for someone who considers themselves as a "no-life" if you haven't been playing the game every day 3 years ago.

This game luls you into a false sense of security by quickly progressing through ranked machines (Ranks I-II-III-IV) before the grind becomes logarithmic and the Silver Lions/Research required to purchase and play in the higher ranks (Ranks V-VI-VIII, ect..) cost a lot more which requires even more grind. Nearly impossible without a premium pass purchase ($100).

Buying machines with money is practically 1:1. $100+ purchase for 1 machine is the starting point to play at a higher ranks and it won't even be the best machine you will be encountering of having when playing at that BR.

BR= Battle Rating is almost always upscale. Playing at 5.7 bumps you to 6.0-6.3 at a minimum and so forth.

Overall, its a good game. It has its fault with grind but I personally play for the experience not for performance.
