If you like the survival genre then this game should be right up your alley. There's some quality of life aspects they might be able to add to the game in the future but nothing severe enough to really impact you're enjoyment of the game. Just don't drop any items you aren't prepared to lose, they'll show up as bags but will eventually disappear.

I believe the ending is a bit tougher than maybe it needed to be but that could also just be on me. Took me ages and a couple of discussion threads to figure out where to find the items I needed and it feels like to give you the exact amount of item you need and nothing more. Accidentally use it the wrong way and you might be stuck.

Give this a shot, it's free but don't let yourself think the quality is lacking in any way. It's fantastic and I hope the students got a really good grade for all that they put into this.

A great game for kids that even adults can enjoy.

The controls are simple enough, even in normal mode, that it should be easy for even young kids to get a handle on. If you're an adult and you don't mind having a relaxing game to enjoy once in a while I'd recommend this one. The story is simple enough to understand and has good morals to teach the younger ones playing. No one color has to be the best, everyone has their positives to share, work together to defeat the bigger enemy, ect. Just enjoy having fun for once without having to have the game punish you to feel accomplished.

My only major complaint with the game is the end boss. Not hard but because of how it's set up it's based on pure luck and I found it painfully tedious for no real reason.

Everyone makes jokes about turning people into hats but honestly what's the point if you're just gonna waste all that meat?

10/10 would become a cannibal.

If you enjoy first person exploration perhaps this game will be able to blend together this genre with the Resident Evil franchise. Seems to rely more on just making you feel uneasy rather than only playing with jump scares, though it did happen once.

Since it's just a demo I would be really interested if the main game allowed more things to be opened and explored more thoroughly. Unforturnately it might just be a limitation of games that at some point you can just roam around aimlessly waiting for the prompt to appear instead of trying to think deeper into what item may be used elsewhere.

I don't understand why the PC demo has a white window bar at the top the entire time. Apparently this did not appear in the console demo. Why could it not be maximized? Immersion breaking to say the least.

Since it's a free demo there's no reason to not try it for yourself.

The scariest part is the fact that the character has no idea how to interact with his enviroment. He even gets stuck on the last stair going up for some reason.

Then the jumpscare happened and I basically ♥♥♥♥ myself.

If you like creepy music and jump scares then I suppose it's worth a shot to play for a half hour or so. At least it's free.

I would recommend this game due to its fanastic art direction, story, and amazing voice actors but I would also recommend waiting until it's on sale for much cheaper because of just how short the game is. Though apparently I flew through it faster than others because I didn't explore as much as I could have.

I saw that this game had mixed reviews before installing it but I thought I would give it a chance anyways with the hope that it was an exploration-type game, which is something I really enjoy.

Now I know why it's so mixed.

People have complained before how newer games may give too much intructions in the beginning but this seems to have the opposite issue. You don't know what your doing and the intructions given are pretty vague. Sadly I was not able to poke around at the objects like I had hoped. If you're someone who likes rummaging and touching objects like in Fallout or Skyrim this game is not for you.

The story is lackluster at best. College-age guy goes to a party and then wakes up in a bedroom having no idea what's going on. Cliche! Then some angry dude berates you over a radio which magically moves from one room to the next. The angry guy is either a mobster or a gangster depending on how you interpet his accent. No idea if he's working with the black fog or not as I gave up trying to button-mash my way through the fog to no avail.

I was hoping for something close to "Going Home" but this was nothing like it. While perhaps I should have read the reviews beforehand I wanted to try a game fresh with no bais either way. This is what I got.
