Let me start off by making a few key points.

- Is DayZ Standalone a finished game?

No. DayZ is far from finished, and it will most likely still be in development for quite a while. This game is far from perfect, due to sometimes game-breaking bugs, and glitches. There are currently features that still need working on, and features that still need to be implemented in the first place. Things such as getting eternal shake glitch, or being killed by stairs are common experiences in the game, and can be quite frustrating when they happen. More often than not, players will find tht they get killed by glitches more often than they get killed by other players or zombies.

Although this long process of development can be frustrating (I personally hae been upset at times), I choose to remain patient with the development team, and I choose to appreciate all the work they've clearly put into this game, even if it may be taking them longer than they promised in the past.

All too often, I see people giving the game a disike, along with a "♥♥♥♥ you, devs", or "This game is ♥♥♥♥ and will never be finished". Although people are entitled to their opinions, I would suggest that people considering buying DayZ just ignore these reviews, as they honestly are not costructive, and don't look at the the big picture. Instead of just looking at the status of the game's development, please consider my next point;

- Is DayZ Standalone a FUN game?

In my opinion (and 600+ hours), I can safely say that DayZ has been very fun to play. Looking past the bugs, glitches, and unfinished features, I have had hundreds of awesome experiences, with awesome people. The things that make DayZ what it is, is the player interaction, and this is something I have never had an issue with.

Gunfights, tense moments, sudden, unexpected battles, hostage situations, meeting friends and making enemies. Even just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around, throwing zuchinnis at passers bym or starting bambi fight club. These are, in my experience, the core features of the game. Very seldom have I ever had a boring experience on a fifty-player server. There is always somebody to meet, greet, fight, kill, etc. It really all comes down to who you meet, and how you play your cards.

If DayZ was a single player survival game, I honestly would be much more upset with the status, and speed of development, but since it is a multiplayer game, I can really back up and realize that as a player, I don't have it too bad. Although some features are broken, the game is still enjoyable to play, alone, or with friends.

So in conclusion; Yes, DayZ is buggy and is evidently ot finished as of yet, but to everybody out there being turned off by this, and reacting with anger and "♥♥♥♥ yous", you aren't doing the game any justice, when it does in fact deserve at least a little.
