They went from using Redline.io to Epic Online Services. They're practically the same thing - Spyware. I guess this company is incapable of learning from past mistakes. I'm staying away from My Time At Sandrock due to this.

I wouldn't recommend supporting any game that uses either of these spyware 'services', but if you got it through a bundle site, I'd recommend blocking the Epic Online Services addresses with your firewall or manually.

Here's a guide for doing it manually which I tested and seems to work. It has all of the addresses to block also. It will block multiplayer in some games which has the spyware, though.

They released new DLC (Ethernal Embers) and at the time they forced a 3.9GB update to the main game. Does this fix any of the old bugs? No. Graphics improvements? No.

What it does do is push the EpicStore bull-crap onto steam users. You now have to make an epicstore account if you want to play with your friends on Steam.

I was a huge supporter of this game at one point. But upcoming changes where the development seems to be focused on hunting for whales makes me not want to support this game or recommend it to anyone.

I guess it was good while it lasted.

Fun old remake. I got it in the HiB monthly. From what I can tell so far, there's nothing really new about this game. But it brings back the classic to a new generation of players and adds better sound and graphics.
