That was horrible. one of the best games I've ever played. I've never felt so disturbed and uncomfortable playing a game to the point that I hope the new amnesia has a lighter tone, otherwise I'm not sure if I'll be able to play it.

There were a few times playing this I wondered if I should quit. This game is not for the faint-hearted. Not in the way amnesia is not for the faint hearted. Amnesia is fun, it gives you that hit of adrenaline for junkies like me every time you escape from a monster. This game makes you feel like your fear is totally insignificant compared to the suffering of every other person in the game world, to the point that it kills the sense of satisfaction of fighting through the dangers, since every time you do it slaps you in the face with a worse fate suffered by someone who had come before you, and when it does it makes you know that, if you were in their place, you would have been just as hopeless as them.

This game has the most truly bleak world I've ever experienced. This is the only game which deserves the title "psychological horror". I don't really think I can recommend this in good faith. It gives you a fear which lingers well after you stop playing. This mostly comes from its graphic depictions of death and suicide, so if you're sensitive to that it's not a good idea to play this, or you can play it without interacting with the objects which give story dialogue (data buffers, audio logs, and corpses).
