Denuvo is broken. Performance is terrible. Avoid.

This game was pretty fun, but they recently broke it on the Deck / Linux as part of a misguided anti-cheat push.

This game is amazing. Don't buy it on Steam. The Steam integration is atrocious and locks you in to playing on Steam forever (this was a recent change, unfortunately).

Again, heartily recommend this game, it's amazing.

As a fore-warning: this is _definitely_ at about alpha level, if you can't deal with a few workarounds and some features not working all the time, you should probably wait. On the other hand, the devs have already pushed out multiple patches (it's like day 3 and a Saturday).

So far, this game has at least mining & building (haven't got to combat yet).

Building has issues at the moment. Easy Build Mode added for early access has quite a few bugs. However, the ship editor & manual building work well. It's insane how much detail the ships have for an MMO. I really love manually bolting/welding things to my ship. :) The editor isn't for the feint of heart - but the amount of control you get is unreal.

Mining is great. I've not got to the ship-scale mining lasers yet but cutting open a rock and scooping out the juicy insides feels so good. The belt looks amazing and the scale is incomprehensible. There are billions of asteroids and IIUC they are all tracked by the server.

Classic worms game - poor port.

- No cross-platform multiplayer (don't gift this game to anyone on Mac/Linux)
- Alt-tab doesn't work on Linux
