Took a while to get the game working but when I finally did it was worth it (?).

PROS:
Unique Characters
Interesting and Engaging Plot

CONS:
Short Story (Finished in 4 hours and one sitting)
A little buggy
Took a while to get it working
Outdated graphics (however its still fun to play)

Personally I enjoyed it and if it seems like something you would like you play then just pick it up. However, wait for the sales rather than buying full price.

10 hours that felt like 100. There's only one word to describe Lost Planet 3 and that word is: messy.

The whole game seems unfinished, rushed and sloppy even though it was released in 2013. The gameplay mechanics are awful, I spent a good 30 minutes just trying to turn a valve. Why? Because the game told me to mash A/S/W/D to turn it however the button was actually just Q. This, as well as gear that you pick up throughout the game being useless until the end (e.g the shock upgrade) makes this game a very confusing and difficult game for casual play. Also when you shoot human beings they bleed the same particles that bleed when you shoot akirds. Just an indication of lazy game design.

The cutscenes are sometimes god awful with scenes being spliced in for absolutely no reason other than to tell a joke, or to develop a character. Those things are fine for cutscenes but the way Lost Planet 3 does it is so jarring and sloppy that it feels like you're watching a 30 second skit before the important cutscene starts playing. The characters came off a cringey sometimes and even the comic relief couldn't get any laughs from me.

The boss battles and combat in general was extremely lacking. The boss battles (especially the final one) were so boring and ended up becoming more infuriating rather than entertaining or high stakes. Guns didn't feel powerful or meaty thus not being fun to play with. On top of that there wasn't even a large selection of guns and I just ended up using the standard shotgun and grenade launcher combo for a majority of the game. However, I will give it props for explosions and grendae play as using those types of weapons was entertainng to play with but the rest of the guns were so boring and just killing machines.

However, the only redeeming quality of the game was its story which is what kept me going for 10 hours. The story, although written pretty poorly, was interesting and entertaining enough for me to keep playing. I was legitmately interested with how the story was going to end and how the characters were going to end up. However, the end was a sloppy mess of an ending and just seemed to be like "♥♥♥♥ it's getting too long now just wrap it up".

All in all, Lost Planet 3 is a mess and has got me not at all interesting in playing the other games in the franchise. I wouldn't reccomend this game to anyone and would probably just tell people to read up the story on wikipedia, at least that would save you money and. what feels like, 100 hours.

Was pumped to venture into unknown terrains with my favourite Toy Story characters. Instead I got a broken game that won't even start up. Very dissapointing that this is common with all buyers of the game. Steam should feel bad for putting up a game that doesn't even start up.

Even though this game is called Dinosaur Hunt: Africa Contract, I spent most my time killing zomies and gargoyles with a japanese katana.

I had my eye on this game for a while now and I just got the money to buy it, at first I was comteplating if it was worth the 25 dollars but as soon as I got into the battlefield I knew it was worth every cent. This game is epic and just a server with 25 people can go into a crazy battle. This game has many game modes to keep you interested, the graphics are stunning and everything from the design to the weapons look realistic. To play you would need to take out your old mouses as this game uses the scroll to actually attack instead of the classic weapon switch. The game does have a couple of bugs and OP and TK issues but they are very small. This game is amazing and i've only been in 1 64 player battle and trust me when you in one of those its the craziest gaming experince you will ever have. This game is worth your money and you will play it so much if you a fan of Medieval games, I head that mount and blade is similar to this so I might check it out. Awesome game Awesome Combat 9/10
