Really fun game so far! Takes me back to playing the original settlers, and what the recent settlers attempts have really been missing.

It needs some QOL updates but road-map plans for this. Coop planned for the future which should be fun (doesn't need proper multi imo).

Simulation is also incredibly solid. I've had over 2k pioneers running around with zero slowdown. No significant bugs encountered to date, nice variance of enemies. The combat is a little bit simplistic just now and requires a bit of building micro to ensure you're using the correct combat units against specific enemies, but nothing too major.

Definitely a big thumbs up from me!

Unfortunately, even after all these years, this game still seems to have more bugs than when it started. I first played it years ago when it was very early access and was quite fun even with limited features. Noticed recently it had continually been updated over the years and thought I would give it another shot.

Within 5 minutes of being in-game, I was stuck in the ground unable to move. I slowly got injured and started dying of thirst. I then couldn't tab out, or go to task manager to close the game out. I hard to hard crash my PC...

I thought, oh maybe this is just a random glitch, so gave it another go. Another 5 minutes, I build the first debris shelter and storage chest, go into manage inventory and everything just stops. Hard crash again..

So yeh...not great! Maybe I'll try it again in another few years. Shame, had a lot of potential.

After the struggle at game launch (even for an EA game the development process was incredibly slow) but the devs have worked really hard to develop this game into what it is today. It's a lot of fun and while it still needs some improvement here and there, it's now at a stage where I can whole heardidly recommend you buy if you enjoy builders. Multi as far as I know is still a bit buggy but as a single player game, it's great. All single player gamemodes are solid and if you just want to chill in sandbox and build something impressive to look at, it's up there as a real contender.

Brickton AI has improved massively over recent patches and with more continued development, this game will just get better and better.

Not sure why I've never reviewed this to date. I've put a tonne of hours and had a bunch of fun.

Great engine, great features, fantastic steam workshop support. You can literally get anything you want these days thanks to the number of creators.

With contranst improvements and pretty well priced DLC's, I can see this game going on for a long time. It's officially takes Simcity's crown as being the best city builder around.

Fantastic game! Introversion always deliver rich gameaply & this is no exception. Still in Alpha currently so a bit buggy but already has some great features.

Hints of theme hospital, dungeon keeper, dwarf fortress & evil genius.

Will definitely be one the best sim management/building games I've played once fully complete.

I recommend this game for the dayz mod only.

This is the only place I can put this without it being deleted.

Any & all negative forum posts are deleted on the steam & their official forums. The developers are so blinded by their own egos they truly believe they've not done anything wrong & given the game enough support. They have a disgusting attitude & people need to know!

It's still buggy after 6months of patches. Still runs like crap when playing multi.

They are now not supporting the game anymore even though it's still broken!

Lots of RPG/TD combined fun!

Amazingly fun game! Great community, loads of fast paced action & a wide variety of characters to play. If you have a steam account & you don't play this game, you're seriously missing out.

I don't even play FPS games but I always enjoy firing this up ;)

Oh & of course.....Hats hats hats!! lol...

Highly enjoyable 2D action game. You have to mine to collect materials to craft new weapons, accessories & armour sets. Also build up small houses to house your NPC's.

Extremely varied materials allow for a huge range of craftables. Alot more action based than minecraft.

If you want to build lots of stuff however, buy minecraft.
