Needs performance patches. Awaiting with impatience the content updates.

Interesting, engaging, and slightly challenging game.

I like that it's not too long.

The story is ok but it is a bit crude for my liking. Some actions taken by a few characters make absolutely no sense.

Lara will also sometimes talk to herself and figure out things hours after the player has figured it out, even if those things are evident from the beginning. This breaks immersion and makes her look silly. It's more of a design than a narrative flaw since these monologues mostly trigger when revisiting areas.

Combat is ok although the shotgun is underpowered. The game has a few bugs, mostly relating to physics or UI placement.

Plays equally good on Linux with Proton as it does natively on Windows.

P.S. There is a fix for the UI bugs, check it out on PCGamingWiki, I played through the game without the fix just fine though

Great game for the price.
Vaporwave/80s aesthetic surprisingly isn't hard on the eyes.
The grappling mechanics are fairly intuitive once you get used to them which takes about 10 minutes.
Minor nitpicks: Level design could be better and the difficulty of the levels isn't very well balanced.

NOSTALGIA
If you used to play this as a kid and absolutely loved it but more importantly if you have money and time to spend then I definitely recommend checking it out again. However if you don't have time or money I absolutely do not recommend it.

FUN
Runescape is full of interesting lore and fun quests but it also requires quite a bit of grinding in order to get the most out of the game. There are microtransactions and there is a membership fee in order to access most of the game's content.

TIME
You either need a ton of free time to play or if you only have a few hours a week then you need to spend a <indie game> amount of money each month because the events really do feel like you're missing out if you're not catching up on them with cash when you don't have the time to complete them.

OSRS
For me, RS3 is more nostalgic because I first started playing in 2010. However if you were playing Runescape before that, I recommend giving OSRS a try instead. It will definitely feel like an older game but there are no microtransactions of any sort (except for membership bonds). The content is different, updates are regular and the community is just as big if not bigger than RS3.
