Awesome 5-10 minutes of gameplay. I REALLY hope they expand this out, as I could easily sit for hours playing a puzzle game like this.

I'll be keeping my eye on it, and would happily pay for a fully fleshed out version.

Reminds me a lot of Auditorium (An EXCELLENT music, light puzzle game that's worth looking into :D )

Picked up this as it looked like a fun game to have a go at with friends. We run a couple of gaming channels on Youtube and like to try out the free games that are about to see how they play.

First impressions were that the humour was spot on, with great intro sequences and animations in the menus.

Second thoughts were that the interface felt a bit over complicated and somewhat buggy, but useable.

We eventually navigated into a game, and once in, the gameplay is fun. Nothing ground breaking, I think I likened to a poor man’s Overwatch (so I guess an inferior TF2?) while playing it. The controls aren’t immediately obvious if you’re not doing the tutorials, and some of the tricks took some time to get used to.

Over all though, it’s a fun play, and we enjoyed it until our third match where we were sniper dumped on.

As with most games, the experience is defined by who you play with and the community that plays, and if one of these things is toxic, it can take the enjoyment from the game.

Maybe we just sucked…

Go take a look at our video below and see for yourself :D

Picked this up when I saw the competition announcement, little did I know at the time that the competition had already been beat, and I had no chance!

That said, it's not a bad little time killer, and a fun challenge, but the later levels are INCREDIBLY hard.

Not really a lot to say about it, I like the music, the controls are punishing and the physics are crazy.

Check out my play through below, I include footage from both the Steam version and the Android version of most levels.

I picked up Vertiginous Golf some time back with some mates when it was on a free weekend, and we’ve only just got around to giving it a go. At first, it’s a little confusing, as you start the game in the street outside the golf accessory and game “stores”.

In one, you can spend money earned playing the game on in game items. Considering you only see your avatar for a very brief moment, it seems fairly pointless, but I’ve only played multiplayer, so it might feature more heavily in the story mode.

You can change your club and little bird robot as well though, so it’s not a complete waste of time. Nothing in there aids you in your game though, so it’s just a little bit of customization should you want it.

When we first gave the game a go, it was in some kind of arena battle mode that didn’t seem to have a lot of point, and we’re still not 100% sure of whom won. That said, we then managed to get into the main courses, which are 9 holes at a time.

These play pretty much like mini golf, but with crazy courses that get harder and crazier as they go on. It’s actually pretty fun to sink a couple of hours into with a mate.

Not a game that constantly holds your attention, but it’s really not bad, if you’d like to see our playthrough on it, check out the video below :)

I've had this game for a number of years, and have only just recently re-visited it.

Even after all this time, it provides a nice mix of tactical tower defence and FPS madness. You get a number of wall pieces per round that you can lay (up to a max for the level) and you can buy towers to place on them, or upgrade existing ones, much like other Tower defence games.

What's interesting is, that everyone on your team gets to do this, so if you don't co-ordinate, you're going to die.

The early rounds start of pretty easy, but they get harder, and though your towers can handle the threats to start with, you WILL need to get involved to protect your core.

Rounds can get hectic, and you will be kept on your feet. You need to work smart, and fast if you want to achieve victory, with some rounds determined by a few seconds of vital choices, swaying the match one way or another.

If you want to check out some gameplay with 2 (of a max of 4) players, check out my video on part of the first level here:

I picked this game up for free some time ago when it was in beta, and still had a price tag attached (was a give-away weekend).

Playing it back then, the interface was pretty broken, and it took forever to do anything, to get into a game, and often, the game would crash.

Move on a bit over a year later, and the game is free to play with free ship rotations (like many other MOBAs) and they have done wonders to the interface. I can actually navigate it now, and getting set up to play a game doesn't take long at all.

The feel of motion when controlling the ships is epic, and you really do feel like you're in control of a capital ship. When describing it to my friend, I likened it to Sins of a Solar Empire, but being in direct control of a single ship rather than the RTS perspective.

I love space games, and I played the first game these guys put out back in the day, Strike Suit Zero (highly recommend!). Though not as frantic as SSZ, this has a similar feel to the universe your in, and I can almost picture a cross over with players taking the role of fighters aboard player controlled capital ships...now that would be a game!

The controls are pretty intuitive, having not played for a year, I jumped right back in and picked it up with relative ease. Co-Op is pretty quick to find a match for, especially if you're playing with a few mates. I do hear PVP can take some time, but haven't given that a go yet.

If you'd like to see some in game footage, I played a couple of matches on my channel, and here is the uploaded link:
