It's a tad more fast-paced than Black Ops and World at War, but definitely not as much as Advanced Warfare. The playerbase is pretty chill and almost always knows what they're doing. Though things are pretty confusing in Shadows of Evil, the return of Der Reise (The Giant) brings a nostalgic welcome to returning players from WaW while freshening up the gameplay through Gobblegum and shuffled perk machine and initial Mystery box spawn placements every time you start up a new session. Any weapon that's not a Wonder Weapon or your starting pistol can be upgraded from raising its level of use from killing zombies with it, which means that you can grab a golden sub machine gun with laser sights right off the wall. Overall, its pretty fun, just like the other previous games with zombies.
