Shlong story ort; awful experience.

This will definitely exceed the 1euro/hour price/playtime ratio but definitely not in an enjoyable way.

The art is AI, not corrected or probably even checked, so the hands are messed up, the proportions are incorrect (arm size etc), but that's not the worst of the.. whatever this is.. it's not a game at least, or if it is, it's a psychological one.

Each "puzzle" has 3 differences to be found. These can be hole sizes, eye colours (difference between brown-greenish and green-brownish for example), background shapes (one a tiny bit taller than the other), smudges on the ladies, or poorly faded out differences as if it's done on MS Paint by a 9 year old.

There's a 40s timer and I actually am impressed that I can complete 15% of the puzzles within this timer. So no, overall it's a bad experience.

Well.... Apparently my robot has pronouns that need to be addressed specifically..

Now that's said. I really enjoy the game, it's simple but I guess I'm stupid enough to take a long time figuring things out. This time clearly has a positive effect on the time/money ratio, but my time spent to figure things out has been enjoyable too. I disabled the monster aggression because I want to focus on this as a exploration/puzzle game rather than a horror game.

I guess the developers could've made this into a deep management/optimization game but for this price I have to say it well exceeded my expectations.

Pixel hunt with good content (though very limited) and good challenge (though not impossible without hints). I find the butterflies the most challenging out of all the series.

I still dislike the audio but what the heck, that's only one moment at the end.

I came for the tig ol' bitties but stayed for the gameplay.. and now at 37/38 achievements I stay for the 100% completion.

There's no R18 content in this game, everything remotely mature is suggestive, so I guess the tags in the Steam store could be a little more accurate than they are now.

Either way, the gameplay is actually quite decent, the upgrades (permanent or not) are decent, they add a good amount of stat improvements to the game to make future runs easier to do. There are some upgrades related to the bouquet that make no sense to me, at least, I don't see why on earth I'd invest in them. But overall for such a low price it's a very good and complete game. Also, I didn't consciously encounter any bugs, that deserves to be said!

Another 15 minutes lasting pixelhunt game. Definitely overpriced but nevertheless I enjoyed it and I feel like I'm actually gradually getting better at it.

The art is definitely used and I would say that the developers forgot to correct a hand in one of the images.. but to be honest, it's well done and a good use of the possibilities of AI, why work harder just to make a simple game like this right?

Anyways, they changed the sounds from the previous ones a bit, which doesn't mean it's great now, but at least the copy paste is a little less.

Early Access Review
While playing it exclusively on Steam Deck, some things seem a bit more tedious (e.g. selecting items/ratizens in a same square), but overall it's very manageable. - Ehh, enjoyable even

The art reminded me of ONI, and the game concept clearly has some similarities with ONI as well. I don't mind, I love playing games like this.

Being in control of one rat, The Queen, makes everything feel more interactive, the civ management, base building, while also being able to take things in your own hand is a very nice idea and good execution.

Unfortunately the amount of info provided in-game on how to use certain elements is a bit lacking, but luckily I'm not the first one to play this and there is some info to be found online.

I'm at prosperity level 5 now and decided to restart with an easier difficulty in order to figure out all of the game mechanics before engaging in battles other than the rat zombies

Also, why can't I find webs? It doesn't make sense, water management is a huge issue for me as it affects my production on a large scale and why on earth can't I craft mud, it would seem so simple, but it's a finite resource that if you mistakenly use it for making pottery, the only way to get it is to trade it

Surprisingly relaxing. At first I just concluded this is an idle meme-game, but with the rubber ducks moving around the screen, hoping for them to go down the slide, setting eachother on fire, flying around, the limited amount of interaction is more than sufficient.

Some people enjoy having a TV series playing on the background to have some distraction around, this is exactly what this offers and more! Heck, there's even achievements. Definitely recommend for the few pennies that it costs.

I'm starting to question why I even pay for these things. The video in the store page clearly doesn't show the content of this game/VN, but of others as well. This one has about 20minutes of content if you take your time.

The writer(s) of the VN tried to write it in a semi-poetic novel kind-of-way, which could be nice if it were in proper English. Perhaps throw the text in something like Grammarly before publishing? Idk, it didn't make it easier to read for sure.

Then the content, there's a good number of animations, but they're 0.5s loops of generally mediocre rendered graphics. On a positive note though, the animations are smooth.

It's too short to be able to call this 'cheap' (when referring to the price at least), so no, I don't recommend.

Be aware, this deeply feels like a scam. Total game time is about 15 minutes, there's 2 janky 'rhythm' games and 3 puzzles - which are in a row - and nothing more to it. Other reviews where they play for hours and saying the game is versatile and awesome seem corrupt. I mean, some have 70 games and have written 150 reviews? What?

Anyways, the quality of the graphics are quite nice, but even then it's just 15 minutes INCLUDING figuring out how to do the janky rhythm game (press spacebar apparently..)

No, I do not recommend. And to be honest, the content is a little outside of my limits. Will refund.

Early Access Review
I've only played a few hours but this is exactly what an early Access game should be. Smoothly playable with a good amount of content to enjoy.

Pros:
- very good artwork and animations
- funny
- almost free of bugs
- the battles feel balanced
- plays flawlessly on the steam deck

Cons:
- when I reach the end of the early Access content I'll probably never touch the game again unless if there are big content changes (a general issue with EA for me), so let's see what the upcoming year brings
- I think I encountered one small bug: when increasing an affection level and the window to assign the points is about to show up, if I bash B during the transition, the window doesn't show and I can't assign any of the points.

Overall I definitely recommend because this is so far one of the few good adult-themed games, but Critical Bliss hasn't disappointed me yet.
