How to described it?

Warhammer started in 1983 kicked off as military take of Dungeons and Dragons. Dragons, monsters, knights, gunpowder, giants, and various threats of the Old world, Lustria, and Naggoth. However, this game is not like the historical titles. It is very Asymetric Warfare dialed up to 11. I would not recommand to anyone who don't like magic and fantasy based.

However, if one is into high fantasy mixed with dark and grim elements. Let's say Warhammer is like Berserk anime, Excalibur 1981, Lord of the Rings, and Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melnibone' mixed in a blender. World itself does like like Earth which it's a negative drawback behind it.

Factions and races have their own strengths and weaknesses. Some are stronger and others are too weak. Each factions have their own doctrine and what should be used. Plus I would recommand to buy the army book and tabletop's 8th edition rule book look more into the lore, but there is youtube channels would describe the lore more into detail.

This game is like tabletop but in more real time due no dice is used and no turn based battles. What units you picked are from based the army books that Creative Assembly has access to and balanced what units should be like in the game. It is engaging and interesting unless magical elements ruins your time.

Battles themselves really depends on the army you bought and mircomanging your forces is highly needed. Campaigns in other wise can be tricky unless you know about it especially lighting strikes useful on higher diffculties. If you are not into it, do not get it. For those who are into fantasy and warhammer in general, then this the game but to have complete faction list go get first Total War: Warhammer to do the mortal empires campaign.

Wolfenstein: New Order is a game that came out with unexpected twist and alternative history where ♥♥♥♥ Germany takes over the world in the same league on alternative history such as Man in the High Castle (Noted that more common with the book, not the Amazon prime series since it came later after this game was released) and book, Fatherland. However, the alternative history plays out more like Alien space bats B movie storyline except the story itself is very strong where focus on the characters with good backing of the lore and how the universe works. The following review is spoiler for those haven't played it or wish to know about it to influence their choice to buy it or not.

Year 1946 where Allies are losing the war as Normandy landings ended in failure and ♥♥♥♥ Germany managed to jump ahead in technology that enabled turned the tide of the war. B.J. Blazkowicz, hero of the story is tagging on with final ditch effort to defeat the Nazis in Deathshead compound where source of ♥♥♥♥ latest technology is located. Upon their arrival, they found that despite superior numbers, their forces are being tearing apart as few managed to enter the compound. Nevertheless, everything goes horrible wrong as they enter the Compound to find themselves captured by Elite soldiers of Deathshead's unit.

This part happens to be most difficult part where Deathshead forces the player to make a choice to either Fergus or Wyatt which if the player refuses to pick one will result non-standard game over. Each choice results a different timelines which depending on what Player decides, but each timeline has alterations depending on the character. In the end, either choice can fit the narrative of the story but replaying the game can offer approaches of the story in terms what makes a difference.

After either which character that player picked, fast forward to 1960 where ♥♥♥♥ Germany dropped Atomic bomb in NYC in 1948 and forced USA to surrendered thus WWII ended in ♥♥♥♥ Germany's victory. This part gets really dark really fast as the player is looking at the prospects that ♥♥♥♥ Germany's rule could look like. It's up to you the player takes the role of B.J. Blazkowicz to help the remains of the resistance to take on the ♥♥♥♥ war machine.

The game level design is quite impressive and often gameplay is depending on what the player feels to do like stealth, mayhem or do both at the same time. The enemies can be repetitive but meant as mooks in the game. There's different enemy classes from enemy dogs to robots. The weapons in the games can be from pistol to laser weaponry as in terms can be silence to loud and boom.

The difficulty in the game can be varied on what sort of challenge you want. The difficulty choice mocks you such as very easy mode is mocking the player that it's for babies while Uber mode is considered most badass mode except you are going to die a lot. Uber difficulty is the difficult can be very frustrating which I found it the hard way and have to come up with different strategies and tactics to wipe out enemy units such as taking out the commanders to prevent them to call for reinforcements as enemies will kill you in a few shots not even armor can help you

The characters themselves are well-written and are realistic as people living in the world where Nazis rule the planet while the villains are vile-characters who have no remorse and often cruel to humanity. If I may add this up, the game does bring up the bad things that ♥♥♥♥ regime has ever done such as slavery, labor camps, and oppression. Sure, the game is a violent silly B movie material but it shows dark material such as horrors of ♥♥♥♥ regime. The game developers never intended to condone ♥♥♥♥ regime since they were aiming to make a good game since they were fans of Wolfenstein 3D.

I think they go for Singleplayer campaign was a smart choice since they don't have to make the Multiplayer at all. The game itself is quite to say that New Order is Alien space bats alternative history done right that focusing the story is better than trying to explaining how it works. Is there something that bought up a question since the game did offer a new thought that reminded especially when I played New Colossus on Nintendo Switch that average citizen of ♥♥♥♥ Regime considered the hero as the villains.

To me, it is questionable that killing ♥♥♥♥ soldiers who were victims of the ♥♥♥♥ regime which to argue that this game is just a game which it's true, but game brings up the subjective that to reconsider that average german soldier in WWII were victims of the ♥♥♥♥ regime. Wolfenstein New Order as a game is just excuse to kill Nazis, but however I do not condone ♥♥♥♥ war crimes and it's crimes against humanity which to argue it is necessary to fight oppressive government that threaten rights of everyone even their own people. Yes, New Order is a game but that's what the developers were aiming for that to make the player think on the actions and story is a adult mature story that tackles on the issues and reflect this as a political commentary on groups such as Neo-Nazis.

I do believe that players are allow to think and this game prove that we are glad that we live in the real world where Allies won the war despite of the aftermath of WWII where Cold War began. This game represents to explore the possibility where ♥♥♥♥ regime was terrible to live in where civil rights and liberties are taken away. This game is not meant to glorify or condone the Nazis, just a reminder on what they did in actual history minus science fiction elements.

In all of that, I give this game a rating of 8.5/10. I give this a recommended this for anyone who likes FPS, Wolfenstein fans, and just those want to feel like a action hero.

Hearts of Iron IV, the grand strategy of WWII era.

The game itself is very historical authentic as the player can guide nations to either historical or alternate routes in history where endless possibilities. Much easier to follow than Hearts of Iron III which it's very complex and takes multiple gameplay to understand Hearts of Iron III in a better understanding. However, Hearts of Iron IV is more easy to learn but hard to master especially dealing to build factories and armed forces in matter of years. This is not a quick rush wars, this requires long term strategy not only military, but in diplomatic relations as well in terms of choosing what side you are in the major global warfare.

Research can be a hassle, but if you have a long term strategic planning and knowing your geopolitical position will give you the edge. AI in the game is a complete mess and often take historical mode in a cluster mess of the historical events often making the game in a difficult spike especially in Ironman mode. AI does cheat as well if you don't play the game right. Number one rule of the game is logistics where in other games that logistics hardly exists which supplying your armed forces is vital to success or squander it will lead to ruin.

Planning is very crucial and always make plans before a war begins while organization of your armed forces is super important. Lacking them will spell doom to your chances of success. For multiplayer which I admit I haven't tried it is where ultimate experience to play hearts of iron where players can alter history as it were a giant board of Risk. I do admit the game is super pricy at the moment, but if you have the budget or saved money for it go for it because you will not regret it.

Darkest of days is a game worthy for history fans. There's one problem: it's too short. The game has a huge potential, but it has bugs and often crash especially graphics as well. The plot is trying to be cool, but feels like a Sci-Fi B movie at best. The ending was like weak to say. I must address the pro and cons of the game.

Pro: the actual historical weapons are accurate. Imagine reloading a rifle musket is long and tedious. If you planned to use it in close range, use its range since its rifling barrel gives huge advantage. I recommend use the rifle musket in long range. WWI weapons are authentic to say which its very impressive that the developers understood the weapons of the time. What's great to experience some of historical moments in Civil War to WWI, but I will not spoil it.

Con: the story felt weak, graphical issues, and wasted potential. They could done a better job explaining, but they assume time travel as if it was Back to the Future. I would like to see Time Travel fit with Multiverse theory where altered timeline interact with original time. This is like as if it was a Terminator's version done badly. The graphics are another problem; if you don't have Nvida, don't buy this game. But if you have Nvida even a good one, it will crash for no good reason. My laptop can run Attila total war without any problems, but this game will continuous crash. The AI is the worse and sometime use an aiming bot as if out of nowhere.

The AI are like brain dead and always focus on you instead of other enemies. The game is flawed in the content and the ending is a sequel bait which they were about to make a franchise out of it.

Conclusion: I do enjoy the game. Not perfect, but I would play it once and awhile. This game is a guilty pleasure and might do a Let's Play series. My rating on this game based on enjoyment, criticism, and idea is 5/10. It has flaws which many will not enjoy, graphical issues, weak spiked difficulty AI, and weak story. However, I like this potential idea where I wish some one will remake this game or a better than first one sequel, historical events, and using historical firearms.

This game is one of the best horror games I played so far. This also captures the Ridley Scott's Alien by the design of it. However, the plot is very Hitchcock style as to venture deeper in the heart of the space station where people has turned one each other while Robots are a murderous rampage. Things are about to take worse as Xenomorph is on the scene. I must say that the Xenomorph's AI is unpredictable even on hard and Nightmare, so I suggest use more stealth and conserve your resources wisely. This is not gunning and running like Call of Duty. If you wish to explore the station more, I suggest do it in a Novice setting which you will enjoy it without running any problems. For Nightmare mode, it's up for the player to take the challenge, but less resources and limitations that one will have to rely on wits.

I do have one complaint is the ending is a cop out. They are baiting us a sequel, but I hope the sequel is a DLC not another game. This game is perfect for Alien Fans and great for newcomers who gotten into the Alien Series. The game is not bad, but the game brings the horror compared to Outlast that rely on gore and jumpscares. The Xenomorph will give Freddy Fazbear and Chris Walker a run for his money because this Xenomorph is not here to mess around. He will hunt you and will learn in Hard and Nightmare diffculty. The robots are just a nuisance, but can become a threat to you since the robots only care on their program. The human survivors will either join or kill you in order to survive.

The length of the game is another nitpick, but that's the problem: It's a video game. Take the length away, you taken away the Player's interaction with the enviroment. The Enviroment is the key element like the film which it's very accurate for a game based on the film from 1979. For those who love the Alien film series, I suggest to pick up this game and play it in the dark if you dare.

BioShock Infinite, the latest BioShock series is very impressive. I never played the first two BioShock games, but this game takes the cake even those didn't play the first two games. Rather to expand the first game, this one is a standalone game except for the DLC episodes that takes place in the setting of the first two games. When playing this game, it felt that we are in the 1910s as Brooker DeWitt is on Columbia to settle the debt from the wrong people and Elizabeth with the powers to create new worlds.

For anyone new to the BioShock series, this game doesn't disappoint and it will be a wonderful experience. For those who played the series before, it will be something different in the same gameplay they knew. I suggest anyone to pick the game up and enjoy the BioShock at it's best.

Valiant Hearts is a 2D puzzle game takes place during the events of World War I. I must admit outside of the subplot of the Baron, the game is very well done and it's good in my aspect. In fact, the game can be colorful and cartoony except it doesn't shy away from the horrors of World War I. The story about a aging Grandfather who was conscripted to fight in a war whom he met along a African American whom formed as buddies and a medical dog. The heart of the game is the characters had to go though in the conflict. The game doesn't require guns to say since Ubisoft designers were going for and it's a change of pace due how many FPS games out there.

1. Story- The plot of the game is just straightforward and emotional the story gets. There are subplots to such as the Baron's plans to win the war, Anna's Dad, Karl's escape, and other is not a bad idea. Although the Baron plot was out of here and sounded like a cartoon show doesn't make sense in the conflict unless he could appeared in a DLC where he's a rouge German commander at the end of World War I. The rest are very good which it's not bad except for the Baron plot.

2. Characters- The characters are developed and have their own personality. Emile and Freddie are my favorite characters in the game. The rest are great as well in part of the story.

3. Art- Given the nature as a cartoon, but more a comic book-like feeling to it. In fact, it can be a Comic book video game which I enjoy of the backgrounds. The characters can be expressive despite of their hair covered their eyes, but works effective.

4. Sound- The characters don't talk to say. They rather make grunts, but the balloon speak help the player to think. The music is very classical and it's a good thing because it's mostly good kind of orchestra music. I like the music in this game.

5. Gameplay- It's a 2D puzzle game where it requires thinking to figure the puzzle. However, there are some puzzles are obvious and others are tricky as well. There are some parts in the game can be frustrating, but the end results can be very fruitful in the end.

Overall: Based on the gameplay and experience on the game along with everything else above, I give this game a very good rating of A- for good story out of the Baron subplot, good gameplay, and greater understanding about World War I. My recommendations to players who wish to know about World War I and for puzzle games as well.

This game kicks so much ass! If you are into parodies and staires of the action films, this game is the perfect one for you. The game is a platformer which it has a nice classic nostalgia feel as if a Arcade or Super Nes feeling. Althought it may look childish and insane, but it's a the good kind of fun. It is a beta right now, but I hope the final verison will kick ass and this idea for developers to accept anyone's ideas is a smart idea which that give players to be more self-aware that what the final product of the game should be.
