I got this Escalation for free and I still want a refund.

Trotsky tree is impossible, Burkharin tree is drier than a desert, secret base mechanic for both is unintuitive, supply is a headache, but Poland is alright I guess, honestly just don't buy it

Now that I've 100%'d it, time to write a decent review.

Performance is amazing, solid 75 FPS with medium quality on a 1060.
Game-play is typical WoA, movement sometimes can feel a little sluggish when sprinting in and out of cover.
Maps are great, my favourite is a tie between Apex Predator and The Farewell.
Pricing is unreasonable, but I bought the previous 2 games when they released and 100%'d them both so I enjoyed what I got.
Lack of content on the other hand (5 maps and no extra ones after a year) stings, 7 Deadly Sins is not a good substitute and I'm happy I got that for free.
Elusive Target Arcade is ALSO not a good mode and should be reworked into a "pick a target and play" style (12 hour lock if you fail).

I'd recommend if you enjoy the WoA trilogy, but don't pay full price for the Trilogy Pack - Get Hitman 1 GOTY and Hitman 2 Gold ON SALE first.

Overall, 6/10. Good game... but IO need to get their sh-t together.

Weapons feel solid, but the AK is bugged for some reason, no Stock options for it.

Otherwise good DLC. 5/10, excellent price - but buggy.

A thoroughly unsatisfying DLC pack, which feels more like a "spend Political Power to get rid of negative modifiers" DLC than an actually fun one.

Oh, you want to go to war? Too bad, spend Political Power to unf*ck your country-
And it's 1940 in the blink of an eye, already. Focuses are far too long, you spend more time sitting in the decisions tab than actually providing support to the European giants.

At least Byzantium is easier now.

Never hire modders again, Paradox.

A pleasantly entertaining game - I can't seem to leave it alone for more than a week.
