Brilliantly simple teamwork/problem solving game. I get more nervous playing this than climbing cliffs in real life.

Best game I've played in the last couple of years, easily top 5 of all time. There's far too much to even try reviewing and I'd risk spoiling things so - if you have one (1) friend you should play this with them. If you don't have a friend consider learning to play with your feet so you can still play through.

Cool fish

I bought this game a short while ago and was enthralled from the moment I lost my first run to four hours later, as I completed my second. The artstyle, sound design, and general thematic content is exceptional and evolves with the story. The combat is at times thoughtful, quiet, and slow - and at times a mad dash to minimise your losses as you rush to try and make the end of a level. The mechanics are simplistic in nature, but combine together with your choices to create unique and challenging scenarios where you must balance resource consumption with risk, the timing of your attacks with the movements and numbers of your enemies, and your empathy for a trapped dog or survivor with your own survival.

Many of the reviews here express frustration with the difficulty of the game. Treat this like an RPG or something based on overpowering your enemies, and you will indeed find it very difficult. Your job is to stay slow, silent, calculating, efficient, and alive.

I will definitely be playing this game through again.
