Super fun and intense game. Rounds are short, around 15 minutes. If one doesn't go well, you can pop in and try again. Really does feel like you're in a slasher movie. Really like it.

If you haven't played Counter Strike before, it doesn't compare to your typical miltary first person shooter. Counter Strike is much more competitive and relies on precision aim, tactics, trigger control, and team work. The game doesn't strive for realism, instead it aims for smooth balanced game play, sacrificing good graphics for higher frames per second.
CS:GO is the latest version of the old Counter Strike franchise. CS:GO had a rocky, slow start but it has grown to be a jugernaut on the Steam network. CS:GO developers frequently update the game, often times including suggestions from fans on forums. Sometimes the updates don't go quite as planned and have to be pulled, but they're pretty quick to do that.
If you want to play a game that rewards conentration and strategic thinking this is a game to try out. There is a somewhat immature community to deal with while playing, but the "mute" button isn't very far away thankfully (I only wish there was a "mute all" option.)
