Nope. Not trying to make any argument here. As expected, new Amnesia makes a whole lot of bad choices that negate the novelty of the first one. Instead of focusing on its potential stronger points, it "invests" on a more linear storyline (which is cheap and unfitting to the series) and takes a note or two of the Outlast trademark chases and scripted events. Honestly this game is way more similar to Layers of Fear than it is to Amnesia: the Dark Descent.

Overall, mediocre game. Bad horror game. Terrible Amnesia.

this game my dudes it's truly amazin
it's like a wednesday in form of video game.
it's super fun and challenging. it's full of content and surprising depth
it has lots of guns, puns and jokes. colorful characters and cool music
even though it was based on binding of isaac, imo it's way better and put together, but that's just my preference
i love this game so much i could even forget about wednesdays for a full week, jk, but it's good, tho
so yes, worth at full price and an indie masterpiece

peace, my dudes

I've always been a fan of the Trine franchise, and I didn't know what to think about the third installment. I've just finished it and I'm still not sure. It's without a doubt the weakest of the three. You can clearly see it was rushed out and the early access stink hasn't disappeared yet. It has a lot of bugs (if you compare it to its predecessors), and it's just not polished enough. Still, both the music and the graphical artstyle are still amazing, which is the trademark of the Trine games. And the puzzles are a lot of fun too. I've certainly enjoyed myself while playing this game, but I recognise its flaws. The new 3D mechanich doesn't say anything to me, but I understand they wanted to innovate a little bit and it's pretty well made, I just would have liked it more if they had stuck with the 2D (which was also a trademark of Trine). My main problem with this game is that it's considerably shorter than the last two, lacks a variety of enviroments and puzzles and the ending is literally a "to be continued..." which I'm not that sure that'll be a Trine 4 considering this one is already a mess.
Oh, and BTW there is like just one boss, and it's the final boss, that was also a little painful.

Overall I think it's disappointing and doesn't live up to the name of the saga, but it's still a Trine after all, so you know what you're getting into. If you're a fan of the Trine "trilogy", then pick it up, you'll enjoy its outstanding visuals and art design. If you're not that familiar with Trine, then it's an absolute pass.

This lazy ass game is here to piss on the grave of the borderlands franchise. Don't buy it.
