Fun game, perfect match length, PVE and PVP are equally necessary but neither are overly sweaty. Plenty of room for tactics and hijinks and a decent amount of unlocks. Will have to see how they eventually monetize things, but I'm guessing cosmetics. We shall see.

Demo is soul crushingly short, but the slice you get is enough to see the vision here. And it's a grand one. Funny, interesting characters, a great premise, and wonderful art design throughout. Cannot wait for full release.

It's rare anymore for a game to make me actually feel anything, or to think too deeply. It's even more rare for a game to instill a genuine sense of wonder, or to make me care about the characters or story on any meaningful level. It's not often a game stuns me with it's visuals, or sweeps me along with it's soundscape, drawing me into it entirely.

Clair Obscur has managed to do all these things in just it's opening hours. I'm invested now. I need to know where this goes, what happens, to see what strange, broken and beautiful things await. For their debut title, Sandfall has crafted something that I feel stands toe to toe with all the AAA titles that have come this year and before. It's a phenomenal experience, this expedition, and this studio now has my full attention.

It's like Tim Burton provided art direction for this game after binge watching Wes Anderson films and playing way too much Rimworld. You are left on your own with only a codex to guide you,. No tutorial, just pop ups lightly pushing you in the right direction. While at first it all seems a bit overwhelming, as you get your feet under you a pretty interesting colony builder appears with a somewhat simple, yet nuanced combat system. There is a lot of puzzling to be done, both in how you design your base to maximize the various rooms, which of your initiates you train are worthy of advancement, who and what to bring to each combat scenario, and when and what to research.

I'll admit that at first I almost bounced off 'Mind Over Magic', but I'm glad I stuck with it. The premise is interesting, and it begs for multiple playthroughs as there are plenty of options to scale the difficulty and rules of the game. In fact, your first playthrough is really the tutorial, because you will almost assuredly start a new game once you have the basics down in hopes of getting a better start.

Although I'd had my eye on this for a while, I kept from watching any content after it's release and really only had a vague idea of what it was based on the store page description and from glancing over some reviews. Funnily enough, the thing that made me spring for "Keep Driving" was the number of people commenting on the soundtrack. While, yes, the soundtrack is stellar and fits the mood perfectly, it's the gameplay I wasn't expecting to enjoy quite so much. Inventory management, an interesting turn-based mode for resolving problems you encounter, a nice variety of upgrades for your car and skills for you and the people you pick up on the way. The game oozes style and you can see how much thought and care went into all the details. I'm glad I went into this blind, and that I decided to jump in at all. It's so nice to have a relaxing, thought provoking game to relax with. YCJY should be proud, this is a bonafide gem of a title.

Early Access Review
Elin is one of those games that, should it click with you, will more than likely become a game you are wary of playing. I say that because you load it up and whole entire chunks of day just zip by in the blink of an eye. I have almost 20 hours into it and feel like I haven't put a dent in the content on hand. There is just so much to do, to learn, to try and decipher, and I haven't been bored for a second yet, although I can't say it hasn't been a bit overwhelming. A great sandbox in JRPG clothes and full of base builder DNA, that description alone should tell you whether it's for you or not. But do beware, it will easily devour all your free time.

A unique, beautiful game set in an interesting world with fantastic voice acting and enjoyable, versatile combat. Add to that a crafting system that feels fresh and beckons you to experiment and just the right amount of rewarding exploration. It starts out slow but after the first hour or two it begins to open up. Eager for release.

Absolutely one of the best RPGs I've played in years. Thoroughly engrossed by the exploration, combat, and world of Drova. It's rare for a game to instill a real sense of wonder and/or meaningful progression, but Drova manages to do so from the get go. I've never played Gothic and this gets compared to that game a lot, and if that's the case, I am calling for more Gothic-likes. Drova is an absolutely fantastic experience. There is also enough wiggle room with the two factions you have the choice to join -as well as the variety of weapons, skills, and attributes - to allow for mutiple playthroughs. Big recommend for those who don't want a lot of hand holding and like figuring things out in their RPGs.
