CS:GO Review
CS:GO is a fun game once you get better at it -- things such as gun spray patterns, strategies, communication with your team, finding your roles (sniper, rifler, support, etc) and many other aspects of the game help with becoming a better and more respectful player in the CS:GO community. There are quite a few flaws once you get to know the game a bit more, however. The matchmaking is horrid, along with the ranking system itself. However, if you do start to take the game seriously, you can play on ESEA or another good community-made matchmaking and ranking system. Another thing is that players can be either really nice, or crazy Russians saying their well known phrase every ten seconds, but those kinds of players can be found in any game. In CS:GO there's Prime & Trust Factor matchmaking. Trust Factor matchmaking can be very unreliable as you get queued against cheaters and smurfs (players with low ranks but are much better than that rank) quite frequently and your team could consist of trolls not taking the game seriously. Prime matchmaking, however, allows you to play with good and dedicated players (for the most part) and you don't get queued with cheaters or smurfs as often. This is because you need to go through verification and other things to get this feature -- which smurfs & cheaters don't really bother to go through. Paying $15 or so for this game, in my opinion, was a good idea because I have a game that I can play with my friends and I can also meet other people and get to know them (woohoo for making friends!). Communication in this game is key and I believe it could help with social anxiety by talking to others and feeling like you're helping by communication (which you are). Ultimately it's up to you whether or not you want to purchase and play this game, but I do recommend it. Bye for now!
