- Disable Superfetch
1. Press Window+R
2. Type in "services.msc" without quotations
3. Find "Superfetch" and right-click it, then choose "Properties"
4. On "Startup Type" section, choose "Disable"
5. On "Service Status" section, click "Stop"
6. And you're done!
By the way, if you're wondering what this service does is, it is managing your memory which consumes a lot of RAM to perform it.
Tired of always setting up the priority to High everytime you log into the game?
You can use the game Launch Options in Steam.
Just put this in your Launch Options without quotations "-high"
You can also put "-d3d9ex" in Launch Options to enable DirectX in the game but high-spec PC users found that "-d3d9ex" can reduce the time of alt-tabbing and "-nod3d9ex" can cause the FPS to rise a bit. You need to choose between 1 of those for high-spec user.
For me, it reduce the the time of loading a map in CSGO by using "-d3d9ex".
1. Press Window+R
2. Type in "msconfig" without quotations
(Windows 7)
3. Go to "Startup" tab and disable unused programs except if you're using a hardware that requires an application for that. For example: Razer mouse requires Razer Synapse and you shouldn't disable all of the Razer programs.
(Windows 10)
4. Whereas Windows 10, "Startup" tab can be located in Task Manager which is the rule of disabling the programs was already mentioned in Windows 7 steps.
Startup programs are the programs that are automatically opened when your PC is booting up.
(Windows 7)
1. Open Task Manager and go to "Processes" tab
2. Find the program you want to prioritize (normally games).
3. Right-click the program and in the "Set Priority" dropdown, click High.
(Windows 10)
1. Open Task Manager and go to "Details" tab
2. Find the program you want to prioritize (normally games).
3. Right-click the program and in the "Set Priority" dropdown, click High.
If you already know all of this, please don't kill me in the comment section :(
It was a challenging week for me to fix this problem in my computer and I've completed it. I've been learning a lot of stuff just by fixing performance issues.
I might can play tonight depends on my availability.
While Windows Update is required but you can just disable windows update by just searching for Windows Update and click on "Change Settings" and then disable the windows update. Unless if you want to update.
But I usually take around 1-5 hours to update every single driver including Windows Update for Windows 7 while it takes me 2-5 hours to update every single driver and Windows Update for Windows 10.
So why the hecc it's taking you so long to update stuff which can be done in a day.
i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate updates.
So, I said I want to play today and it turns out I still can't HAHA (♥♥♥♥ me).
I had to update some more Windows Update and each update is taking so long to install.
I also had to update the drivers in this computer which is some of them are missing and some of them are broken which makes my game lags if I try to play.
Please believe me. I'm actually facing these problems right now. I'm having a big stress updating all of this stuff and sometimes my Internet got cut off and I had to do all over again.
It has been 2 nights I didn't sleep and I'm just making myself worse.
*** IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT ABOVE ***
my pc broke and i need 2 more days to fix it and please don't untrust me because it will make more worse :(
I've upgraded my Windows 10 from Windows 7 expecting that I have problems with the drivers because I can't access the internet connection.
It turns out it is my Internet Provider the WHOLE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TIME.
So I might be in the game starting TOMORROW or TODAY depending on how laggy the game is in this laptop.
If it lags a lot, I might play the game tomorrow since I want to downgrade my Windows to Windows 7 from Windows 10.
If it isn't, I will play it TODAY.
See ya.
