the graphics are top notch, but it still has playability issues. the framerate is much improved, when i used the benchmarking tool that comes with the game i was able to get around 60 fps on average, however it would dip down to 7 fps at times. An inconsistant framerate is just as game breaking as a low one, and that is why i can't recommend this game until they fix the constant jump in framerate. it isn't just numbers on a benchmark, i can very clearly feel it when i play the game, it stutters and jumps around constantly. i have a gtx 680 with the latest drivers and the latest version of physx btw.

edit: this is exactly the same stuttering problem that was inherent in metro: last light, go search the nvidia geforce forums for "metro last light suttering", and you'll see that it was a widespread problem among people with all sorts of graphics cards and setups. it may be a problem with the engine itself as a different game made with the same engine had the same problem. since it was a problem in the last game and was never fixed, and was present in release in this game, i doubt it will be patched in the future. and yes, it is a big deal to those of us that like a smooth play experience.
