Yes, Yes. I bought the game just for that reason as well.

My friend gifted me this and I enjoy playing it at times! A fun relaxing game, that's for sure! I always listen to my favourite radio station for some Hard Rockin' journey between the states! Not to mention, it's introduced me to a lot of good, meaningful songs while I'm continuously driving my truck looking at the beautiful city lights, large highways, the deserts, forests... Overall, a stress relieving game!

Game does look entertaining and addictive but in short, your decisions on heroes with their attacks/skills and the outcome of the battle or the quest would've already have been rigged since the beginning. That's... pretty much why there's no manual save/quick save here. If you could manually save and load it later on, you'll find out that every move you make, every creature, every hero and every action is following the same sequential pattern that you previously experienced in the last save file.

I mean... please, I make my occultist use his heal ( magic RNG 'yay' ) on my most critically injured, stressed, poisoned, jester and it only heals him for '1' ( sometimes, 0 as in ZERO, yes, I know it's staged ) while the heal I used on my crusader, who was at 85% health gets a whooping 13-16 crit heal. This has happened to me not once, not twice but almost all the time...

It's like gambling, except you throw the dice once, make your move and then your opponent gets to throw 2 sets of dice, twice and makes his move... all finally leading back to the same, outcome... You LOSE. git gud m8

I do have a reasonable amount of hours spent on this game and I do often keep playing it again and again just for the fun of it... or it's just, I'm miserable. Yes, there, I said it. I'm in misery, GOD help me.

3k+ hours
Sacrificed my social life and character for increased levels of autism, crippling depression and extreme bipolar activity.
10/10 would wake up again in the middle of my sleep and start overdosing on my medications.

Well, AC: Rogue was the last AC game I played... till now. I skipped Unity and Syndicate and jumped straight into Origins. There have been many changes but I've gotten used to them and the game thus far has been one big amazing beautiful journey. It crashes at occasions, expect around 3/10 times ( I know it's a bit too much ) but if you're operating a high end PC, then you probably won't be experiencing much difficulties.

Edit - Turns out the game dislikes overclocking. Idk about other PC builds but mine surely used to make the game crash at times whenever I ran the afterburner. Haven't had a single crash after I stopped overclocking. Well, I guess that's just it.

10/10. Awesome game.

Edit ( 08/12/2020 ) - Oh... how much I missed this masterpiece.
I still have a lot of achievements and quests to complete. But as usual I get carried away from my path and I end up freely roaming Egpyt thanks to how beautiful it is! My thanks to all the people who contributed in creating this jewel of a game. ( Yes, it is my first time writing 'thanks' in a steam review ) This wasn't just a game to me... it was more or less a journey, an adventure. I just felt so alive playing this game at times, it's helped me forget about a lot of worries! I still am not done with the game yet, I'll keep coming back again and again just to witness the beauty of Wondrous Egypt!

Me - ( gets invaded when I'm heavily outnumbered, busy trying to fight my way through 10-20 enemies just to reach my last bloodstain where I dropped 35k souls )

Also me - ( invades someone just to find out he/she has 2-3 NPC summons with them )

This game makes me feel like shooting up a grocery store for no reason.

I finally downloaded the entire Stalker series. It's just been 30 minutes since I got this game and I already found what I was looking for - A bandit yelling "Aaaa nu Cheeki Breeki iv damke" at me. My life is now complete.
