This is the sort of game that will either give you endless hours of enjoyment with time passing by like water down a stream or you will be absolutely bored. It requires a certain measure of imagination and OCD to enjoy fully, with a very large list of mods to wet your pallete for content to the point the developers seem to be releasing DLC for things we've had through mods since release(Robot empire start, expanded pirates and galactic life, etc).

10/10 for the Touhou Imperium

Build a colossal interstellar farming colony before dying to all manner of things including infestation, pirate raiders, or cyborg military commandos or alternatively getting blessed by the chosen narrator and getting a plasma rifle and cyberarmor. But you will probably die.

Great expansive RPG with no multiplayer but a online feature allowing you to rent out other peoples companions like prostitutes before sending them back with a rating and spoiled fruit.

10/10 but if I have to hear another high pitched pawn voice ill blow my brains out

I suggest a pass on this, while its fun for the first few hours it quickly becomes apparant the game lacks any serious content to keep you interested, with many aspects of gameplay seemingly put in without consideration for overall game balance and some parts of the game completely broken(Skirmish Co-op).

We'll see with the sequel but this studio has a reputation for abandoning games so dont expect this game in particular to get better.

This game is a great continuation of the type of gameplay you are familiar with from games like Planetside 2 and Battlefield 2142. While it lacks some polishing in areas like graphics and sound you can expect a deep system of customization based on cumulative levels in 3 seperate areas of gear stats instead of some sort of weight limit with every piece of equipment and addon having some use(even though there is a distinct bias in boarding parties for rifle shields).

The ground combat lacks some inspiration as far as the satisfaction of gunplay with most of the guns falling into the pitfall many sci-fi games have which is very uninspiring muzzle reports and animations as well as an underwhelming TTK for 80% of the weapon loadout but still having a fairly decent place for every weapon where I only found myself coming back to one weapon a few times. Vehicles are fairly limited but fleshed out as the customization that applies to weapons and armor also carries over to ground vehicles and small spacecraft allowing you to change modules and guns on the turrets. Gameplay itself revolves around a Domination gamemode where you capture points to progress your team score and win the game.

Space combat is in my opinion where the game shines, allowing you to enter 4 types of fighters and a bomber as well as small to large size capital ships with the fighters and bomber being customizable down to attachments to the guns and armor. You can choose to duke it out in space or board enemy capital ships through transports and destroy them from the inside out, killing the crew and damaging modules. Progression is also Domination based, controlling parts of the space map for points in a hectic map full of dogfighting and capital ships slugging it out.

I think if this sounds interesting to you that you should give it a go, if not its no big deal as its at the very least worth the current price with content eclipsing some recent FPS's for 3x the price. The development has been very steady with updates coming in timely manner and with sufficient changes in each one so the game you dislike today might be different in a month or two.

10/10 would board space warships with BR's again.

This was a shockingly well made VN with an interesting minigame to choose your route for romancing/character development instead of just making dialogue choices. While this minigame system loses meaning after the first Act for reasons I wont go into because of spoilers, it meshes well with the "Literature Club" theme.

Its shockingly easy to get emotionally invested in the characters and I found myself wanting more from each of them, primarily Natsuki who has an interesting yet only hinted at backstory. You'd be making a mistake to take this VN at face value and would be doing yourself a disservice not to pay attention to the foreshadowing and nuances in the dialogue and events in the story.

10/10 wouldn't mind seeing more from Team Salvato.

Honestly? Pretty great ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Core gameplay is fun and theres a nice pace of progression. Downside is russians, I've seen at least 10 blatantly aimbotting players. Also if you like Soldat you will feel right at home.

So another update to this review even though Ubisoft will never actually glance at it. Yet again I have to give this review a negative for much the same reasons as before, consistent and prevalent aloof attitudes in the Ubisoft development team for anything even closely resembling decent game balance. I'm not going to point fingers here at a specific hero because that would be indicating a cough is the only symptom of a disease, the hero and mechanic balance in this game is so all encompassing that it would be a considerably shorter list to note the working-as-intended features of the game. To its very core(the fighting stance) the game has issues including but not limited to indicator disappearing, non-unblockable attacks going straight through guard, deflect timing inconsistent with indicator, indicator failing to properly gauge if an attack will hit you at long range, uncounterable guard breaks at medium to high ping, "flicker" continuing to be a severe issue common to reworked or new characters, and all block frequently failing to proc abilities. Hero balance is also a serious issue with some characters being blatantly superior versions of previous ones(Shinobi better Orochi, JJ better Nobushi, etc.). Map issues have gotten more severe as time has gone on, with them initially being one of the better points to the game. Bugs that have shown up in regular gameplay and even youtube and twitch videos include CC moving hero's out of the map, abilities pushing you off boundaries, instant death points that dont require being ledged, consistent bias on one side for travel time to objectives, and a few more unique to various maps.

Bottom line before I repeat everything that everyone else has already said before is Ubisoft you need to get your ♥♥♥♥ together before this game dies. I guarantee you that if you put your attitude to the purpose that if you do some real lasting balance to this game and fix core features of the game that you'll have a much more consistently higher playerbase then the current trend of one or two gamemodes being populated until the next hero release where you get a small burst and it goes back to status quo.

Easily accessible and fun trading card and board game. Beat anime girls to a pulp with the blessings of the RNG Daemon Princes. Ban poppo from rooms and make your friends so salty they remove you from friends.

Pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ neat game. When you first play the game you will wonder "Where are all the enemies" and after you hit rank 4 or 5 you will join level 7+ games and get mauled to death by bugs or dogs, and get killed by friendly minigun turrets.
