bought for gmod textures, stayed for random deathmatch games

the ridiculous crack down on modding and horrible lack of support from both rockstar and take two have RUINED this game for me. its really a shame because i want to love this game but the greediness of rockstar with microtransactions and the unjustified crackdown on modding has forced me to give this game a negative review

oh boy where do i start with this one...

Pros:
-good destruction
-terrorist hunt can be a blast with friends
-good replayability with different maps and setups for those maps (sorta like payday 2)

Cons:
-HORRIBLE netcode (yes it had gotten better but its still bad)
-matchamaking is a joke (level 1s VS level 100s)
-hackers, hackers everywhere
-as a defender you can go outside and kill the entire enemy team at their spawn (yes it shows where you are but only after 3 seconds and by then youve killed half their team with a nitro cell)
-new operators (you get them for free with season pass) cost 25K renown whereas regular operators are at tops 2K, also to put this in perspective you get about 200-300 renown (if you have a good match)
-Season pass operators are MUCH better than standard operators (one of them has a gun shield which blocks about 90% of all bullets thrown his way)
-Some operators are completely useless whereas its a fight for the good ones (ive been teamkilled so many times because i selected an operator first)
-Community (dont get me wrong this community used to be amazing but then christmas came around and the summer sales and now it has grown to be horrible)
-Ubisoft

Other thoughts:
-if you have a good team it can be fun
-if there arent hackers in your game it can be fun
-if you dont get teamkilled it can be fun
-it can be fun

This game had SO MUCH potential and they threw it away. yes its getting patched but i feel its in a worse state now than it was at launch.

if you can get it cheap then go for it but never in a million years would i recommend this game at full price (even higher if you buy the season pass which unless you wanna grind for 20 hours is basically a must)

in the first 48 hours this game was out i put in 35 hours...depending on how good or bad just cause 3 is this is the next game if not GOTY itself...i bed you to but this game its absolutely amazing

Game 1:spent all my points on smerchs (uber russian rocket arty) fired them at enemy spawn...killed all of the enemy units...won the game.

Game 2: tried same tactic...enemy spend all his points on a helicopter rush...he found my arty and destroyed it, had only like 50 points...called in a UAZ with a 50 cal, he shot at a chopper...the choppers shot back...lost the game

Game 3: being russia i went full tank assault...enemy had infantry in town (with anti tank weapons) destroyed all my tanks before i could do anything...then they shot my base with arty...lost that game

Buy this game! 10/10 would lose the game again

buy it...seriously these are the best devs ive ever seen in a video game and the game is purely built around the community...if you havnt bought it yet i pity your soul
